I can't get over how he whips his palette around, beats the devil out of his brush, and in every video his shirt is spotless

well, I would imagine he would leave an open space between the area of contact between his shirt and pallet and as for the other colors, they are on the outside so if anything, they would fly away from him if he whipped it.

I think Bob teaches confidence so well because he always adds something that we all think looks awful, but a little bit later he progresses and it ends up looking really, really good. Such a great way to learn how to trust and have faith in your own decisions

You know it's on when Bob decides to get crazy
This painting is like something out of a dream. I can just imagine sitting there on the soft green grass, hearing the river trickle and flow about over small rocks and down tiny waterfalls. Feeling the cool air brush through the tree leaves, leaving a gentle "Shhhh" sound. Smelling the wood of the trees, and blooming flowers. Just feeling completely one with nature. Bob Ross brings these fantasies to life through the canvas and a paint brush. It looks so real, and makes me sad knowing that it isn't.

@@girlypopWHAT yeah. And his last few years were sad - he lost his wife some years before he passed, so the painting was all he really had left (massive stab in the dark - I don't actually know more than the fact his wife died before him) And yet he always maintained a sunny disposition, and always had a warm smile and a calming presence. RIP, Bob. It sucks to lose him, but in some ways it's kinda almost the right thing - I reckon he's too good of a person to have to have lived through a year(s) as shit as 2019/20. 😑
In school we were making rainforest poetry for science/writing and my friend wrote a poem about a sloth named Bob Ross that liked to climb happy trees, but sometimes made the happy accident of grabbing his own arm thinking that it was a branch and falling to the forest floor

The best teacher, gentleman, inspired human being the world has ever known! I am lucky to have Bob Ross on film. He inspires me today! Michael McClary
Top tier episode - Adorable story about befriending wild animals - Audience engagement - Multiple simultaneous apparent disasters all of which get fixed by the end - Bob makes a mistake then adorably corrects himself - THE COKE NAIL - Fantastic stripped down cast of colours still results in an excellent painting Overall, 9/10 due to no instances of beating the devil out of it
Love each show. In this one he explains more of his tapping technique. More fun being an artist than an engineer. A courageous man who is deeply missed.
His voice is mesmerizing, makes my brain tingle
I used to watch the show when I was a kid. For couple of months, I've been watching him again; sounds of the brushes tapping on canvas or scratching the canvas with paint-loaded knife gives peace!
I have to say, Very few things give me as much true peace as just watching Bob doing what he loves 🎨🖌️🖼️ Thank you Bob ♥️ a masterpiece of a soul you have even in heaven. Keep these videos alive, this world August 2022 needs way more things like this to be focused on.
I love the vibe I'm getting from this one.

My mom and her siblings grew up watching Bob Ross. She introduced me to the show when I was around 7 years old. I'm 42 and I still love watching him paint. I ALWAYS keep a smile on my face when I'm watching and listening to his soothing voice. Always a peaceful way to relax when I'm stressed out about life in general.

My sentiments exactly, he's a legend
The art snobs that criticize Bob will likely never understand that he wasn't painting to make them happy. He was painting to make us happy.
I remember being a young girl and watching Bob Ross paint with my grandmother, he always brings back great memories
I. Love. All. Of. Bob. Ross 'Paintings. He. Is. Great. And. His. Paintings. Are. Awsome.
When he started to paint the water I could already hear the birds in the distance, the leaves rustling, little bit of chill in the breeze. Made me feel like I was right there.😌😌 bliss.

How did your painting go?? :)
Bob Ross is the zen of painting. Peace to you bob.👍R.I.P.
What an interesting, mega-creative guy Bob Ross was. He certainly squashed a lot into his way too short life. Many people, on these comment sections use the phrase "I would love to have met Bob Ross". Well, I'm going to add to the general consensus, and repeat that wish myself. "I would have loved to have met Bob Ross". Can you imagine sitting at a table, drinking a big glass of iced tea, and conversing with, and learning about the life of Bob Ross, from Bob Ross himself? Another unfulfilled wish, but thankfully we have these half hour episodes of TJOP to watch and re-watch, whenever we need a little of his positive assurance. Thank you Bob.
I think he could stop world wars with his talent! ))
Happy little tree :D
When I get mad on something, I’ll watch his drawing because he makes me calm and relax. thnaks Bob Ross🥺💙
i love how encouraging he is at the end and beginning of each episode.
Currently listening to this in the background while I work on an engineering project, his videos take the edge off like a nice scotch, and at 20:45 Bob drops that he himself majored in engineering until he moved to art... I never knew that and my new aspiration to be more like Bob, although I'm not sure how I would get away with happy accidents...

When Bob paints it's 25-30 minutes of pure meditation and relaxation
This let me have my first happy little day in a while
I could sleep and dream about anything peaceful even paint my own painting in my dreams feels like a cure is being made when he speaks and when he's done painting its like Im cured from his soft spoken voice. It's really satisfying like when you wake up from a nap but also going back to sleep for another day.
Who are the demons who disliked this video? What is wrong with it, it's freaking perfect!

Bob Ross and Fred Rogers are imo the Top Voices Of Soothing
I keep watching, and getting drowsy and then when I remember that I'm watching things a minute later I get really amazed that in a short time there is a beautiful forest where a mostly blank canvas was
bob ross never cease to amaze me
It's easy to explain why so many views but no true reflection of 'likes': Everyone is amazed and stunned into a mezmerised state, such that they don't know what the heck to do with themselves once the video ends.. and so everything gets forgotten about.
Wow, I didn't know he went to school for engineering! I wonder what kind of things he designed and made?!
I know this is going to end up being one of my favorite episodes, but where I'm at, at the beginning, is giving me a heart attack.
According to Google this is the #1 rated episode of the show So why doesn't it have more views? 🤔
