Musically, it's called the "dirty" sound to Jamaican musicians. A raw grittiness that's endearing to the ear. You can also hear it a lot in Ska, being from the Caribbean, I can't help but like it.

Hm well, I don't think so. Barrett's bros, Peter Tosh and Marley could never be underrated..

The vocals are just amazing. The background vocals along with Bob. This version is the best I have ever heard. Just beautiful.

Genius is banded about for the select few; Bob Marley was a musical and song writing genius. This live performance is mesmerising from both himself and the 'Wailers'.

Always left speechless and emotional listening to this masterpiece from Bob Marley and the Wailers. As a yardman this always moves me. RIP to the great Bob, Peter, Bunny and the amazing Family man. What a band !!

I traveled with a driver in 1995 from Kano to Jos for almost 4 hours throughout the journey he's audio cassette back and front is concrete jungle.

I have seen a dozen of videos on KZread, never ending poor covers from other bands, his sons making shitty versions of his music. Nobody sounds like Bob and The Wailers live. Despite the primitive technology in sound of those days, it is amazing and pure. I believe that this band live was the faithful representation of musical perfection, magic, coordination, soul and feeling. Nobody never, never, will match the talent and feeling of this man and his band.

Oh my goodness, it’s baby Bob Marley! Bless whomever uploaded this! Only by the miracle of them & KZread do we see this early performance of Bob & The Wailers….sadly, every man on this stage has crossed over to the other side. Bob met them at the Gates of Heaven and they are all jamming together again! 50 years later…and still we listen, dance, and sing along…not bad for a biracial kid from Trench Town. As an old white woman, this bootie has shook to Bob Marley since the beginning and it shakes everytime his music plays. Rest in peace & power dear Bob, I know there will be a big crowd…but I’m going to find you in Heaven to thank you for this music and shake your hand. Jamming for life…
