"listen to ME! you know me personally" lmao
Her wardrobe was BEAUTIFUL Tony! 🤩🤩 I leaned over and said the same thing while watching it. 😃
I loved the movie. I gained a deeper understanding of his music and his unbreakable bond with Rita.

Frankly, it would be nice to revisit this. The movie and the good feelings it leaves you with is too short. I was singing in my apartment at the top of my lungs at 1:00 am.
You hit it right on the nose... I felt the same way.. I wanted MORE I wasn't ready to leave the movie theater! I did my research and saw that it's a black director and ziggy and mama Marley were the producers... Take my money! I support this 100 percent! Great review Tony! I really wanted to know how you felt about this and you didn't let me down

I love this comment 😊
The movie was great, her locs saved her life, 🤯🤯🤯 the music was on point, to play a concert with no set list. Just amazing meaning you got to feel the vibes and let it flow. 🎺🎺🎺🎺 out of 5.
Best movie of the year. That acting was incredible.

Guess I gotta rewatch cuz it seemed mid to me like any other biopic
My lady and I enjoyed the movie. I wanted more but thats a testament to how good it was. Everyone in the theatre was vibin. The accents were so legit that I was wondering how many folks would actually understand what they were saying at times.
“You got shot in the head that’s crazy.. draw two” is nasty work 😂😂😂
Awwwwe... Yeeeah😂😂. I love it. I knew Ben was gonna be raw as Bob when I seen him take that Marvel skrull role and turned it N2 gold. I'll check it out tomorrow. Thank you "T.B."
I was caught with 2 teary eyed moments in this movie❤#oneLove
Tony! We need a Mea Culpa review ASAP!!!

Is all.criticism hate?
The two leads were phenomenonal!!! I want to see some award nominations!! Especially for Rita! "I'm tired of being a wife and a warrior!!" Felt that in my soul!!!
The thumbnails never disappoint 🤌🏼🤌🏼
“Remember when we got shot?” “I thought you was gonna die. I got shot in the arm, you got shot in the head, draw four” 🤣🤣🤣 I was gonna see the movie anyway, your stamp of approval just solidified it.
I just saw it this past Thursday and I loved it!!!... And I agree with you that the casting was perfect, especially with the 2 leads of the film... They were definitely a power couple fo'sho and I'm definitely gonna see it again 😎
My wifey and I just left the theater, and I did leave wanting more. There’s very few movies that come out these days that I want to own, however I will purchase this one! Well done
Tony Baker you absolutely right OG. This movie caused certain feelings to swell up in a person as it went through the scenes. I got to get Leon to go check this movie out.
I love your movie reviews man...so in depth!!!
I absolutely enjoyed this film! I also feel like it was rushed, but the acting in the movie was chef's kiss 💋 It definitely could have been longer. I wouldn't have minded if it started around the time Bob was a teenager and got the record deal and went on from there. I have a deeper appreciation for his music and his message. ❤️💛💚
I felt the same way. Amazing powerful movie but I wanted more of his childhood/upbringing.
I was literally about to ask on one of your socials for this review! 🙏🏿 Right on time lol
Thumbnail killed me 😆😆😆☠️
Ok... I'm a bit of a lukewarm Bob Marley fan, but this made me wanna check it out. Kudos, Tony! 💯
As West Indian Jamaican growing up hearing his music going to his concert it was wild the roots rock of Bob is very deep and heart felt by Jamaicans to the point of tears in their eyes when he is talked about! So we hold him close to our hearts and high on a pedestal for his contribution. We love him and his family dearly.
Love the movie reviews big dawg! Anything I'm on the fence bout a movie I know Tony gonna let me know what it is.
I absolutely loved the movie!! I have seen it 5 times in the theater so far. Every time I'm just as excited as the first time and I dance in my seat, sing along, laugh and cry in several spots and stay through all the credits just to hear more songs! I agree it was not long enough, I wanted more! ❤
That thumbnail is legendary 😂😂😂
ok, I guess I gotta go in with my own take hehe, you made me wanna check this out Tone... I know the reviews were mixed, but I seen more negative & ppl being let down, guess they wanted more on his life & me being a huge Marley/Reggae head I didn't wanna be let down & yes heard it was rushed... was gonna watch eventually, but this turned my hopes up, great review‼🙂😌
Yeah he did a great job 🙌🏽🔥
The thumbnail is your best work yet 👏🏿. I will go see this now. Also, I'd like to see you do another "Tony Bakers top 10". You've done a lot of reviews over the years and it would be cool to see some top 10s.
The movie was great. I enjoyed it tremendously. I went with a friend who is Jamaican, and her input was so on point. Her cousin worked with Bob Marley and she hung out at some of the spots when he returned back to Jamaica. I was like, you could add on to the movie. Very interesting life.😊
Well Depicted, true-blood... Greetings from (Yard) Jamaica... We see yuh!
I went the opening day, and I am still energized off of the storyline, my undivided attention, and the excellent performance of the cast!! It's been a long time for me to feel charged by a movie 🎬 like this. I want to thank the family for introducing us to the personalized window of Bob and Rita's life.
I did felt like it was rushed too, but awesome job playing Bob awesome all around, really could have had more native yard people playing certain parts, but it is done. Great job Marley Family.
Yeah, I've watched the movie 3 times so far. It's emotionally somber, yet full of hope and faith. Definitely worth the effort and his family wanted to create a yardstick as it were, so from now on everyone knows what Bob Marley was like, and what he stood for.
Tony you are hilarious 😂😂. I Just watched One Love on Paramount+. I enjoyed it overall. ❤ I love and daresay felt vibes of healing listening to Bob’s music over the decades. I have Exodus, Legend and a 4-disc box set with his early music going back to the 60s and yes, I had my own Marley t-shirt in college in the early 90s (a black tee with his silhouette against red, green and gold stripes 😁) so I’m a fan and lover of his music. Yes I agree that Kingsley and Lashana are EXCELLENT 🔥🔥 in this and that Lashana gave an award-worthy performance! And I did peep Rita’s clothes too in this film. Beautiful!! 🔥🔥 I will say tho that Bob & Rita’s relationship was complicated - both had affairs and outside relationships and children (Vanity Fair did a good write up on that) that was quickly alluded to in the film (I knew about Bob’s - including his long-time girlfriend who’s Damian Marley’s mom - but not Rita’s) so this movie, given that the family was involved, didn’t go too deep into those details. It seems the idea was to focus more broadly on this time of Bob’s life and his music vs a deep dive into the man including his warts and flaws, so with that in mind, their dynamic in the film worked the way it was intended it seems. Anyhoo If you want to know *more* about Bob’s life beyond this film definitely check out the 2012 Marley documentary. It was excellent. There’s also the 2011 Making of a Legend documentary and the Rebel Music documentary which came out in 2001. ❤💛💚
I haven't watched the review yet, but I just saw the bonfire last night. I'm loving the thumbnail and the T-shirt @TonyBaker!
I wanted it to be longer too but i felt like it really represented how short his life really was cut and when the movie ended abruptly it really did hit home
As a very proud Jamaican I can only say that ONE LOVE was the greatest movie. If we could all live like Bob Marley what a peaceful world this would be. My only hope is that the younger generation can get the Real message from Bob.
If it was a bit rushed then smoke a big spliff and slow it down! ONE LOVE!!
❤yes I agree … love Bob Marley even more … interested in learning more … overall loved the film
More of these reviews! I dont have time to be watchin all these movies!
Can a brotha learn where you get your graphic t’s from lol? Much love & respect unc 🤟🏾
The relationship observation, wild LMAO
I greatly enjoyed the film overall - especially since his widow and children were involved in making it! 🇯🇲 I do feel bad for my associate that said he could only understand about 30% of the film due to their accents/patois. I think the reach of the film would have been greater if they did have captions. I've seen headlines criticizing the film but I didn't bother clicking on them so I would give it 4.25 🎷 out of 5! 🇯🇲🥰
Yes I ❤ the lead actors and the story. I also wanted more. You could feel the love and strength of the relationship. I have one of his vinyl albums.
I have no idea why T.B. ( I hold the same initials lol) is not active right now as the top comedian. This man can make anything pure comedy. Comedic genius that I unfortunately only have sample sizes of. I play his sets on my devices and draw laughter from people within earshot, or sometimes even a group of people wanting to watch with me. That says a lot. "Who is that guy, he's hilarious!", we need to change that.
The thumbnail 🤣🤣
Great Review! I’m going to see it, i wanted to wait til it wasn’t sold out
It was a good move. I agree it felt rushed and they could have displayed more of the impact him and his music had/has on the world. I respect the straightforward nature the family presented. No fillers or fictional exaggerations. I was expecting to learn things about Bob Marley that I didn’t know already but there really wasn’t. Respect
That Sade shirt is hard, my first crush
Great analysis...❤...great movie ❤
Id love to see a part 2
I was waiting for this one
The uno act out 😂😂😂
Picture tony w dreads tho😂
Obsessed with finding the distressed 3 toned Rasta jersey from the last performance.
Loved the leads in the movie. Great movie!🎉
Kingsley Ben-Adir has been out here silently crushing every role he takes on. Been a fan of dude since that Guy Ritchie King Arthur movie with Charlie Hunnam. Lashana Lynch crushes it every time, too. My only gripe with the film is that there is this one scene shown in the trailers that did not make the final cut and it would've added more depth to a pivotal scene with Bob and a certain character played well by Micheal Ward. That dude needs more roles. Between his performances in "Top Boy", this, and another project, he could blow up.
i havent seen tony this excited in a while i know it would be 4 saxophones at least
That thumbnail 😂😅 Ima go see it man
I love the movie. Great job with the casting and acting was on point. I would like to have seen more as well.
I didnt expect Brad Pitt to be a producers on the movie. That's pretty cool
great review
The movie was great...but 8 didn't want to end either... I wanted more❤❤
"I only got hit in the arm- u got hit in the head. That's crazzzy- Now draw 2 😈😂
One love
“draw 2!” 🤣
Tony the Baker is my favorite 😍 I will now go see the movie 🍿
You are spot on my BROTHER ,additionally if I may . The Movie scored in showing what made him LEGEND. What exactly was the cement that held them together . It's the WORK they knew they had to do !!.A mission that far superseded any marriage or male female relationship . Their God given mission to spread the philosophy of RASTAFARI , GLOBALLY . !! Critics wanted more personal gossip about his extramarital affairs etc . Sorry that aspect of his life had NO PLACE in thia account! It was not included and indeed belong on and should be kept on the fringes !! ONE LOVE , ONE AIM, ONE DESTINY !! RASTAFARI LIVE ..YES BOB ,THEY A GO TIRED FI SEE YOUR FACE ! CANT GET YOU OUTTA THE RACE ! LET THEM DRAW DEM BAD CARD !! . To the critics who the point and subtext went straight over their heads , in Bob's words, YES I , THE GOT SO MUCH THINGS TO SAY RIGHT NOW SO MUCH THINGS TO SAY ... SO MUCH ,SO VERY MUCH . BUT . I AND I CAN NEVER BE JUSTIFIED BY THE LAWS OF MEN , TRUTH WILL FIND I INNOCENT !! SO MUCH SO MUCH THINGS TO SAY !!
I felt it was a bit rushed too, Tony. I def needed more time to marinate in the scenes. I wished it was a bit longer.
I think the casting was good. Great movie
Waiting on that Dune review bro..
I love you I agree 🎉❤❤❤❤
Should have been a mini series 4 nights!
The thumbnail threw my off I’m like what movie is this 🤔🙄😂
I like the movie for what it was. I would have loved a movie that included more of his life but I now c that they had an idea in mind to just focus on what they wanted to focus on. I too loved the leads. However, as a Jamaican a lot of the accents were distracting. I did have to remind myself not to pick a part the accents and just enjoy the movie. Of course the music was phenomenal, I knew all but one song.
I LOVE the way they focused on one period and hints of past because it wasn’t too long but I got enough of the life of bob marley. I wish Tupac movie was like this! All I needed was Pac in his prime, the beef and death with a hint of young pac and revolutionary pac.
Hearing an Asian person speaking Jamaican, is trippy😂

I had some neighbors that was exactly that. A family of Asians and they were all Jamaican or Bohemian 🤔, can't remember but it was a trip watching Asians with Caribbean swagger. I nailed the sister too. Your eyes see it but the brain still can't register what you're seeing.
Rocx wit Tony baker reviews he has a great perspective. His wife being shot in the head & it went through her locs. They say the power is in the hair.
These thumbnails are hilarious
Great movie from beginning 2 the end
Tony, do you watch anime when it comes to your local theaters?!? I ask because I recently watched "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - To The Hashira Training" in 4DX and it was SOOOO GOOOOD!!!!
It was a bit of hit and miss (ive seen way too many docs on bob) but i appreciate it for what it was and because im typing on memory the years are off just a tad But this was the biggest part of his legacy to the end of it
👍🏾😀
I loved it. The 2 leads were great but honestly I wanted more nevertheless I still connected
Draw two 🤣🤣😂😅
I really liked this movie and I like that they didn't try to cram 36 years of his life in to 2 hours. They didn't even show his death. I thought Ben-Adir and Lynch did a great job, acting was really good, especially Lynch. But her Jamaican accent was spotty at times, and his voice was deep for Marley, which was very noticeable, to me, when they would have the actual Bob Marley's voice playing in live performances. Because Bob Marley sung pretty high, it didn't really match. But that is a small complaint. I also wish they could have got a little deeper in to how he came up with lyrics and what they meant to him, but I guess you can only fit so much in a couple hours. But, I really enjoyed the movie.
The movie was the best ....actors was perfectly chosen
❤️🖤💚💛
I must have saw a different movie. I supported it but I was not impressed. I thought it was going to focus on him. It really focused on Rita. It was there love story but he hugged her twice and gave her a peck kiss once. It left me wanting more about Bob.
Lol😂
