About the Album:
More Blood, More Tracks is the latest chapter in Columbia/Legacy’s highly acclaimed Bob Dylan Bootleg Series. This album contains the pivotal studio recordings made by Bob Dylan during six extraordinary sessions in 1974-four in New York (September 16, 17, 18, 19) and two in Minneapolis (December 27, 30)-that resulted in the artist’s 1975 masterpiece, Blood On The Tracks.

This song is so special to me and I can't listen to it without tearing up. My husband used to sing it to me. Huge Dylan fan he was. He's been in Heaven 17 years come this April. Miss you Matt ❤. They say it gets easier, I'm still waiting...

1989, the best year of my life. We met in Thailand, lived in England, and broke up on a sad day in Tokyo. Bob was there the whole way. She left me there in tears, 28 years ago. Bob stayed with me through those tears. Now, she texts me sometimes, but Dylan remains a staple.

More Blood More Tracks are Dylan's most passionate vocals. Despite Dylan's protestations that this isn't about his break up with his wife Sara, these songs are the epitome of what, in this case, a man feels when the breakup is imminent. Bitter and spiteful, caring, loving, strong yet weak, defensive and defenseless all at the same time.

Because we are all quite similar and have similar feelings and experiences when you cut out all the noise of the barriers that people created for themselves such as religion, race, languages and so on. we all go through heartbreak at some point in our life and different types of heartbreak, Dylan is just an exceptional talent that he can tap into those feelings that we all have experienced with his honest voice and lyrics. No one comes close or will ever come close to being at Dylan's level at those talents.

I found a vinyl bootleg of these original Blood On The Tracks songs in a used record store in Austin, Texas in 1980. It also included a bootleg of Desolation Row with this jittery electric guitar accompaniment instead of the acoustic version. Has anyone else ever heard that one? Nobody has his style; for example Time Out Of Mind, Oh Mercy or Modern Times are just a few examples that Bob's voice is unique and wonderful. Nobody will ever sing like he did in Trying To Get To Heaven or When The Deal Goes Down. You got to love all his voice variations, almost every album is different, not only because of the lyrics but also because Bob sings differently. Walter Montiel Black Diamond Bay is truly an underappreciated GEM. Classic Dylan in every way. The instrumental into & outro of harmonica & violin duet is bliss. Then the colorful story, characters, multi-layered meaning of the lyrics (heaven/hell, Vietnam) omg it may be a perfect song. And the rhyme scheme and Emmy Lou Harris singing harmony is icing on the cake. God help me I love Dylan.
