Arum is absolutely correct. Tank has 12 TITLE FIGHTS at 130, 134, and 140. He's spent his entire career in weight classes Inoue has never had a single fight at. People should be talking about Davis vs. Crawford. That's only 7lbs. Or maybe Tank should move up to fight Jermall Charlo at 160lbs. That makes as much sense as expecting Inoue to move up 3-4 weight classes to fight Tank. And keep in mind that if Tank went down to 128 to meet Inoue at a catch weight, he'd be so weak from the cut that he'd get destroyed. It doesn't make sense for either fighter.

Out of everything you wrote the only thing that made sense was Tank fighting in weight classes Inoue has never fought in. Tank has a loaded weight class full of contenders. The problem is they want Inoue who just came up to 122 to jump up 3 weight classes, so a total of 4 weight classes this year to fight someone who isn't just a heavier fighter, but also a weight bully. Pacquiao also spent nearly 4 years at 122lbs, a year at 126lbs, and then over 3 years at 130lbs before moving to 135lbs. Inoue just got to 122. Pacquiao is also a totally different body and a naturally bigger fighter. He even jumped from 112lbs to 122lbs. He struggled to make the lower weights whereas Inoue never has.

Just becuz a fighter can b defensive sometimes when he fights doesn't mean he's copying mayweather. That is a huge reach to give Mayweather props for inoue skills. Shakur maybe. But Inoue definitely not. Floyd also wasn't the greatest.

In Mayweather's first 25 pro fights he had 19 knockouts and 6 UD's against mostly inferior opponents. Inoue won his first world title in his 6th fight, Mayweather in his 18th. We will find out more as the years go by.

Salute to Mr Arum on Gervonta and Inoue. There's no glory if Gervonta wins. It'll only be a bigger guy beating up the smaller man. It'll be a sad day if it happens. Mayweather has his agenda.

Manny moved up and had great results. I absolutely agree that he needs the time to move up. Let him work his way up and then make the fight happen. The only reason Floyd wants him to fight now at a catchweight is because if they let Inoue build up to LW there would be a much higher chance that Inoue could win that fight.

I don't follow boxing. But isn't there a pretty massive weight discrepancy between the two fighters? It would just be a risky fight for Inoue, basically willingly taking a huge handicap to fight a weight class above against a guy much more natural at that weight class.

Why they don't fight so and so without analyzing the weight difference or size. Weight divisions are there for a reason. Not that I agree with the fight but Tank is listed at 5'5 1/2" with a 67" reach. Inoue is 5'5" with a 67" reach. If you're not sure about sizes, dimensions just dont comment. Sounds like u dont know what you're talking about.

Tank refused to fight Farmer, Loma, Teo, Devin, Shakur, and even Kambosos when he had the belts. Tank was so scared about fighting Ryan he put a rehydration clause against him. Tank is known for forcing smaller guys to move up to have a weight advantage (Leo, Garcia, Colbert). Now Tanks side wants a 108 fighter to move up to his 7th or 8th weight class. Tank doesn't want a fight he just wants a weight advantage win. He wants to be 15-20lbs bigger on fight night then get the credit as if he beat a top guy in a fair fight. If you want to fight Inoue meet him at 122-126. Tank ducked at 130 and is a duck at 135

Yes Inoue is the Monster for true, but to fight a guy distinctly bigger and stronger like Tank is plain wrong, except for the payday. If it's at 130 pounds Tank will lose stamina if it goes to 10 rounds, Inoue will lose punching power moving up. It's just ugly as a idea. I hope it doesn't happen anytime soon.
