Another awesome ep and tips, As a ex Commercial and Charter skipper we are told never rely on electronics for Fuel All of my own boats had dip sticks and all the charter boats I worked on used dip sticks to measure the fuel. and in my 5m tinny I just use 23lt Yamaha tanks and always carry spare fuel.

Exactly pro crabbers sometimes use jerrycans and just stick hose direct into stand up drum then always see what is going on

Yes always got to be carefull. with my 15hp 2/ Yam on my 3,7m tinny I tip all my fuel into a clean white 20lt buket any water or dirt goes to the bottom easy way to keep your fuel clean before pooring it through the funnel into the 23lt tank. @@thumburnfishing

​​@@craigtomkinson2837without trying to sound like a KZread troller, you need to be careful decanting into plastic containers that aren't fuel approved due to static electricity. Seen the result of using the incorrect container and static electricity from plastic which has provided an ignition source for the petrol. You can buy a funnel that has a strainer that separates the sediment and water when decanting called Mr Funnel. They are great for decanting fuel through. I know heaps of guys have done it for years into buckets etc, but working in the hydrocarbon industry we get exposed to a lot of safety bulletins regarding such incidents. Cheers

Legend mate just realised after my 60 doing exactly that I've changed plugs , injectors , fuel separator, filter ect yet I never thought to check that fuel pump , legend mate 🤙🏾🍺
