Excellent video! By the way, that is not Duct Tape; it is Packaging Tape, which is obviously ideal for your project because it is light and strong. Duct tape is not transparent, and is much heavier.

The transparent tape was amazing, I thought it might fail in the water, but it held securely. I loved every second of this video! 🚢

Your boat is only as strong as the tape. It's not going to last. You need something stronger to hold the bottles together. Maybe a stronger waterproof tape, or maybe some sort of netting to hold it together.

It would be more remarkable if you guys had created this yacht from actual used bottles that you guys collect. But, nonetheless, props to the awesome idea

Finally Some made a boat out of plastic bottles. I have been suggesting this idea to a tons of youtubers since years, but no one made it. I guess you are the first to do this. You people are awesome!

If there was such a multitude of plastic water bottles in the ocean why wouldn't the downtrodden digging through the garbage everyday, be scoring big time at these treasure-troves of plastic bottles. I've literally witnessed them dig though to the bottom of a fly infested nasty trash barrel just to find a couple bottles full of piss, empty them, then throw them in his half filled grocery cart of plastic. At the beach. You would thing one of the more ambitious hobos could make a small business by assembling a team of hobos to clear the tons of plastic from the beach and make some cash. Look I know there are plenty of filthy pseudo humans who wouldn't think twice about throwing there garbage wherever, but I sure wish everyone would stop and think who really benefits from all of this sustainable energy green new deal climate change hoax nonsense. It would be a very sad looking boat and very time consuming if these 2 lads would've attempted your radical suggestion my friend.

Great experiment guys! I would love to see you team with some engineers who use the bottles in conjunction with flat molded plastic pieces for flooring, sides and roof. The goals would be to make the boat larger, more stable, cost effective, and better looking + more marketable if the bottles are hidden. You could sell the plastic pieces for assembly (along with associated products such as: trolling motors, regulation life buoys, fire extinguishers, oars, coolers, etc.).Let people purchase the bottles through you, allowing customers to assemble their own inexpensive houseboat! Eventually develop different affordable boat models to choose from. Good luck in developing your business plan!
