@@DrakesDetailing drake I had a question, what vacuum did you use for the water? Also is it better to pressure wash the leaves or can you use a vacuum and do it? I visited florida for the first time in my life and after a fishing trip I helped a friend clean a boat. And I though about maybe trying to start my own detailing boat business. So watching your videos will really help me with that. Thanks a lot. I’ll definitely be asking for more advice in the future 😂. Keep up the good work. It really helps me and your viewers as well.

7 minutes, I like the fact that you appreciated the customer and justified that $500 was a good price because she was nice. I've been doing Professional Automotive Detailing for about a year and am moving from AZ to a place where there is tons of boats. I figured why not try to work on some boats I bet I could make some money. Also I was thinking you should vacuum the interior first that way all those leaves that are soiled don't fly around to areas that you may have already cleaned. Great content! Looking forward tot seeing more of your videos.

For rust marks and brown stain from the water line down I used to cross the US border at Sumas Washington to pick up a product called Barkeepers Friend. It’s a powder that comes in a can like Ajax’s or comet cleanser. Make a paste on your smaller brush lather it up let it soak for a few minutes use your brush or rag to wipe it off. It’s an amazing product. $5.00 up in Canada now.

Besides the seat belt, you should be using gloves, eye wear and/or faceshield around those chems...and be careful mixing chems, some don’t mix well together. Always check the Safety data Sheet (SDS) for the chems...a plus for the boots...just want you to not suffer any injuries and live a long happy life....

I'm going to have to try this. I get customers asking me all the time for a simple wash/wax using cleaner wax and I refuse. I worked for a company that did nothing but cleaner/restorer waxes and the boats would be oxidized again in less than 3 months. Since I started my own business I've been trying to figure out a quicker/cheaper alternative for those people who just want that quick shine/wax with out those cleaner waxes.

I try to educate every customer about the fact that wax will not fix oxidation and it may look good for a month or 2 then it’s all coming back! I’m in the business of fixing boats not just covering up their problems! Most of the other detailers in my area are just cleaner wax companies or companies that just hit it with heavy compound and wax... I have an alumacraft painted aluminum boat. scared to use it on that? It also says do not use on aluminum. So not sure how you can trust to use that on clients boats? Or the 25% mixture with water doesn't damage paint and aluminum?
