Bo Nickal Reacts to His UFC 300 Performance and Max Holloway's KO |N&D 37|

Спорт

The boys are back from Vegas! Tune in to hear about the entire fight week experience of Bo Nickal's lead-up and reaction to UFC 300.
To kick things off, the boys go over all the ins and outs of their trip to Vegas. Tony is still pale for some reason, and Ronan is extremely tan. Bo talks about his new favorite game called Liars Dice and what it was like leading up to UFC 300.
Moving on, Bo goes over how he feels after his performance. Initially, Bo thought that he did not perform the way he wanted, but in this episode. He gives a more in-depth thought process behind what he did and didn't do well in the fight. Bo also discusses what he said after the fight and his reaction to being booed in the press conference. Still on the topic of UFC 300, the team goes into one of the greatest knockouts in UFC history where Max Holloway put Justin Gaethje to sleep. And they talk about Alex Peirea getting the KO against Jamal Hill.
To finish off, Ronan tells Bo and Tony about some of the new fights announced including Islam vs. Dustin Poirier, Sean Stickland vs. Paulo Costa, and Michael Chandler vs. Conor McGregor. Each member gives their way too early prediction on the fights and how they think the matchups are going to play out. Will Conor actually come back? What will be said in the Strickland and Costa press conference?
Thank you so much for the support! Hope y'all enjoy the episode!

Bo will be dominate for a long time as long as he never forgets to acheive dominant body position first and then finish fights in the style of Khabib. If he trys to create EXciting fights with his hands, he is accepting risk. Every fighter that forgets who they are becomes something they are not and then begins fighting in a style that is not most effective. Bo's is a wrestler above all else. I hope he does'nt get tricked into trying to prove he is something different. Close the distance, take the fight to the ground, acheive dominate body position and finish the fight. If he gets away from this basic formula, he accepts risk.

Bo, two things you need to work on, 1. Ground and pound. Your ground and pound was non existant. You seemed very sport jiu jitsu focused. You need to use G&P and the subs will become much easier. 2. Your chain wrestling against the cage. Guys like Khabib and Makhachev figured out long ago, that wrestling against the cage is very different to wrestling in the open.

Cage wrestling was fine he took Brundage down within 20 seconds of him being against the cage. Agree with the ground and pound. Although I will say I think he should emphasize the ground and pound only to open up his ability to finish with jiu-jitsu. Took a round and half to sink in a RNC when it could've likely been done in the first should Bo have committed to G&P. Still think sky's the limit for him since he's taking his time to evolve as a fighter.
