Why were the Empire Builder trains on the racetrack? They depart from the north side of Union Station and head up to Milwaukee
up!!!
The original cars from the 50s & 60s still had them but the newer cars do not.

Then time of the trains passage was 4:11 PM not 11:16. AM.
the empire builder actually runs to Seattle with the first six cars going there and the other four goign to Portland, that train at 11:16 must have been the CZ or the SC
