Since most of them run at night, how often do they send northbounds and southbounds? Because I was watching the live cam and saw 3 northbounds one evening and 2 southbounds a different night

I would say on average there appear to be 2 northbounds and 1-2 southbounds each night, but it varies a lot. I don’t live in San Diego , so this is just patterns that I have noticed.

@@rail_spike_productions Ah ok thanks, I’m currently on a trip staying in San Diego and I may consider going now at night to get a couple

No prob, when I was there I noticed that there is a northbound that leaves SD most days (but not every day) between 7 and 8 PM. Occasionally there are random day freights, but those don’t run very consistently.

@@rail_spike_productions Yeah I did know that freights during the day are rare. But hopefully I can down there to catch at least 1 BNSF
