Amazing Trains in San Diego County in Late April and Early May 2024!
And here we are with my train catches from the past 30 days. Included are a good amount of BNSF freights including one BNSF H-BARSDG in the middle of the day. Also got a few good clips of passenger trains as well. Hope you enjoy!

Nice! National City all the way up to Oceanside including a nice mix of Amtrak, NCTD Coaster, and BNSF! 👍🏽👍🏽

How do you catch so much freight in SD??? Just want to know so I can get some BNSF footage.. nice vid btw

Thank you! For BNSF, there are usually very specific times that they run. NB freights usually run at like 9:00-11:00pm now and SB freights usually run after midnight. Every so often though they run in the middle of the day but it's rare. For the national city local, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 3-5pm are your best bets. Hope that helps!
