This car is incredible. It's about 150lbs lighter than the Z4 M and 300lbs lighter than the e46 M3 due to having a aluminum/mag engine rather than the S54's iron block.

It really is a driver’s car. Probably one of the last from BMW as an analog sports car. S54 may be faster but the balance is incredible with the N54!

Have an ‘07 e86 si - tracked regularly with minimal upgrades: camber plates, a must for proper alignment; stiffer sway bars - like the e46, a stiff front bar keeps the wheels in the optimum camber curve (counter intuitive, I know, but it works … never ever lower these below factory sport suspension levels - ever); stiff rear bar helps with rotation (need to turn the e-Nannie’s off). High temp brake fluid, brake pads suitable for the purpose go a long way - no need for big brake upgrade. Light wheels and good rubber complete the package. FANTASTIC DUAL PURPOSE CAR. Mine is my dd 😉

I have an Aussie delivered manual coupe. Ultra rare here and fly under the radar but after having spent many years driving many different sports cars I can say this one is definitely a keeper. Practical, reliable, beautiful, unique.

such a under rated car i dont see many of them m or not

I bought my 3.0si Coupe in 2012 planning to keep it for a couple of years. But I could never bring myself to sell it. I think people don’t understand it, because it is midway between a sports car and a GT. Some day people will figure out this is a real classic.

The z4 coupes with n52 are a rare cars in North America with only 2104 produce for the North American market unfortunately they are dropping in value due to high mileage and conditions and other certain factors , parts are no longer in production like the used too as of 2024 I have a chance to get one but the dealer pricing is a premium for a car that needs some TLC and that adds up in cost . Z4 M coupes are the ones to invest if you could find the right one with super low miles a well record of maintenance records and great condition also the z4 m coupes are fewer in number but they are only manual transmission cars so not a lot of people want them in 2024.

@@victoria19853 I would like an N52 Z4 coupe to work on and build for a track/semi-daily, so I wouldn’t be too hard on the wear and tear. If I can find one someday, that would be awesome but if I have to settle on a 128i, I’ll be fine with that. I’m too abusive to invest in a care so the Z4 M would be hard for me to justify but it would be such a great car. I actually have a buddy that’s selling his supercharged Z4M soon. Never got to drive it but it’s really nice!

I have the opportunity to buy a n52 z4 coupe but the dealer wants a premium price for a car that needs TLC on certain cosmetics and there is no service records either yes is comes with a very limited 1 year power train warranty but it’s a n52 they are great engines to me the warranty is not needed I don’t know were you are located but judging from the video I think your in Texas is so I saw one for sale in that state.

@@victoria19853 yes, the N52 is hyper reliable as long as the cooling (with any bmw) is addressed! I would shop around because chances are the dealer took it in for cheap. Yes, I am located in Austin, TX!

Where you located ?? I currently own my dream car which is a 07 z4 3.0si ESS supercharged with headers and smaller pulley for about 320whp! Looking to go water/meth and even smaller pulley to get to my dream hp goal for about 350whp

He just had BC Racing coil overs in terms of suspension work, not even alignment. The mod list is in the description if you wanted to know everything!

The M version of this car takes it to a much higher level. It is rated at 333hp, better suspension and brakes.

The 3.2 is known to need rod bearings where 3.0 doesn't

@@drifter9425 not in the Z4m, it has the latest version of the S54 with the updates. I changed mine anyway though at 100k miles and turned out they were fine.

M has more weight over the front axle … less nimble … just a trade off
