I'm buying 07 Z4 3.0si coupe that only has 9,714 miles on it. Picking it up today

Have owned my rugby black 2007 Z4 3.0si coupe for a year now and without doubt, the best car I have driven. As you say, future classic old school straight six analog drivers car. Nothing beats an early morning drive on a summers day with both windows down - that sonorous engine and the view down the looong bonnet is totally addictive 👍

I am at 150k miles on 2008 Z4 si coupe. And the engine has not sounded so good as it does now. Torque is feeling great as well. And all that happened was new oil and new oil level sensor put in. Go figure. Mechanic said "This is a nice car."

I've had my '07 3.0si coupe for 2 years and love it. After driving it, a friend who bought his C7 Corvette new almost cried when he heard what I paid for it. Unlike yours, there's a lot of creaking going on, but the drive forgives all sins. Only "car people" have an idea what it is, and that's the way I like it.

Even if the car had a million creaks and squeaks I wouldn’t mind lol. And yeah, it’s a car that some people just go, oh it’s just a z4 so what. But car people, get this car and either go oh that’s a coupe! Or, that’s not a normal z4 what is that? Lol.

Definitely a future classic - they are rare, have an awesome body shape (similar to some great classics such as the e-type, 240z, daytona etc.,) with a desirable straight 6 na, what's not to love!

Extremely talented drivers can exploit the extra power of the M but for your average Jo Blogs, the Si is the better normal car to daily along with good running cost. The M is very snappy, mental with the sports button engaged and more suitable for track focus driving due to high revving nature S54 engine, the 3.0 Si has a ultra lightweight magnesium block with better low down torque for road driving. I do not think in my considered opinion that you are missing out without the M version unless you are an advanced driver or for track use. The coupe is a delicate balance between performance, handling and affordability because the S54 engine is better suited in the e46 M.

everyone has different cars that are the right car for them not just based on price but also what there doing with there car and what there skill level is. Some people the M makes total sense. Other people the 3.0si is more then enough. Totally agree with everything you said.

Here in England I think we only got 500 in 2006, so you can imagine there’s not many left the z4 coupe 3.0 I would say there’s about 200+ and they hold their price

The best car I ever owned I must have been crazy to sell it ....bought an X K Jag 5 litre which was a heap of junk..

Best car I’ve owned from a long list. 3.0si manual is far better on the road than the m coupe, on the track I’d take the m all day long. Bilstein b12 kit and polybushes with 19 csl alloys and PS4’s transform the car, last car I drove that was this good was an Audi Quattro turbo from the early 90s. Often get comments about how pretty it is, and asking what I paid. They rarely guess it’s a £9k car. Keeping mine until I’m too old to get in and out, then it becomes my sons car. Massively underrated modern classic

Having had both I don't agree about the 3.0si being better on the road than the M. I lost my 3.0si to an accident and replaced it with the M. The comfort is pretty much the same, but the M feels slightly more solid - probably a combination of the heavier engine and lighter suspension.

Just bought one of these, great car.

There great cars. I’m trying to get my hands on a m coupe soon so I Can do a comparison between the two. A lot of people think it’s just a different motor cus the body work looks the same but there’s some other more hidden differences. Hope your enjoying your new one. Great cars.

@@carsandcameras6751 I had my friend in the car who previously did 50,000 miles some hard some normal in an 1M. Mine is an SE version with sport button but he says the ride feels nicer for the road and a very well made car for 8k used buy in UK

They are without a doubt climbing now, I have an Si coupe manual, and it's valuation on the book price has risen over £1000 in 12 months! These are great investments and will be catching up the M soon. They are unreal cars

I really want to but as rare as the z4 coupe is, the z4 m coupe is just that much more rare and hard to find lol. I live in California so the z4 coupe isn’t TO rare compared to other areas but the M is still near impossible to find in this area just cus how limited they are. NEAR impossible, not fully though.

I would love to see a comparison between the 3.0si & the //M. The M has the marvelous high-reving S54, but it is an iron block and quite heavy. The N52 in the 3 0si is a magnesium/aluminum alloy block, and is extremely light (the lightest 3liter straight-six ever produced). For this reason many people actually prefer the 3.0si for its handling. Both coupes are certainly amazing, beautiful & unique!

I’m trying to get my hands on a m to do a comparison review between the two of them. Got a new better camera now as well so hopefully it’ll be a higher quality video as well lol. To my knowledge the M has light control arms and some other parts that improve the handling as well so I gotta look into it more. Hopefully soon. Stay tuned.

How does the steering compare to a Z4M? I heard the Z4 Coupe uses electric steering whereas the Z4M uses hydraulic. Glad I came across this video as I now have a better appreciation for the Z4 coupe as I had only test driven the Z4M coupe.

I have the 3.0si convertible, as beautiful as the coupe is, I think you're missing out the experience of hearing the exhaust sound with the top down.

aboutg 25 around town and 29 on highway, if i really try i can get up to 31 on highway but thats no fun

All the sport mode does is change the throttle response time.

Cloaking was actually on the prototype of this car but they couldn’t figure out how to make it affordable and street legal. Possibly a “future” model however.

Actually, cars DON’T loose power with age. Whoever planted that myth probably had an interest in selling new cars.. They only do that if you neglect the correct servicing. As long as you change plugs, oils & filters on this car it will stay at OEM hp. If anything, engines (at least on ALL italian cars I’ve had) run in further, loose friction and often gain 1 or 2 hp.

this simply isn't true. they can lose power. if you get gasket leaks which are common with high mileage you can completely lose a bit of power, plus many other ways you can lose a little here and there. that's simply one.

My 3.0Si 07’ manual coupe is more fun on the road than my F87 M2.

auto transmition ? big no no , manual 6 speed getrag is the choice

They do exist here but there pretty hard to find.
