hi, many thanks for the video, i recently purchased X5 F15 2017 with M package and try to start coding with bimmercode and OBDLink CX and the menus are not the same as you showm, the menus show to me in the app are so different to yours, i don´t know if is because im a using an Iphone 13 updated to IOS 17.1 or i have the full paid Bimmercode app, any advice will be very appreciated.

Hi Shezi, I am having difficulties to change the cluster color on my X5 F15 2017 while in comfort mode, from orange to white cluster (its also not changing at daytime to white, its permanent orange), is there any official option for this on iDrive, or I need to do it through bimmercode? @enrique Carrillo - first of all thanks, no I believe it will be different as 2023 will be idrive 7 or 8 and modules might be different. Also it night even come preconfigured with soft close. Once you load up the app check if it has similar module and try to code it.

@piper Philips - yes it should be similar maybe little different bc of idrive 5 vs idrive 4.

In My BMW X5, I can only close the tailgate from the switch on the tailgate and i find it difficult to close from the door switch and the key fob. Pls how can you help me to solve this

Hi to all, I did this for my tail lights more than year ago and just recently on dash got the message “tail light malfunction”, the one tail light was tripping and went off completely. The fuse and voltage was ok then I code it back to factory or default and it started to work normally and no error message… Did anyone had something similar? Thanks!

Hi I’m wandering if there is any way to code the F15 to engage the parking brake automatically when the car turns off, as standard is it possible when the autohold is activated. But is possible to code it so it’s engage as soon as you turn off the car

Surprisingly my F15 applies the parking brake whenever i press P provided Auto H was on prior. Also the X5 starts in the driving mode it was left when last driven, which I love! The previous owner did a fair bit of coding plus I inherited an M performance exhaust 😁😁

Hi Mate. Not a coding thing but i have a 2015 x5m and im not sure why but the fog lights dont turn on. Ive had it for 3 weeks. The green light on the dash comes on but when i look at the front of the car only the normal driving lights are on. Any thoughts?

@chadjanz5036 - have you checked the led bulbs to ensure they are good, inspect the wiring connection to the bulbs as well?

Yes. Open the flaps using carly or the other obd. Once opened, pull the plug from the wiring harness on the passenger side of the muffler

Check your options build. You might not have comfort access.

I have problem with bimmercode, when I trying to enter in head unit section it says your car is not in original state and I can't do any coding with bimmercode. All other functions works fine only head unit don't work. Could you please help me with this issue. Thanks in advance

@Ruslan Hasanov - have you tried to turn the car off and let it sit for while and then turn again? Is it original headunit that came with the car?

I Have a 2018 X5 and the programming steps are different, ie 3020 is not labeled HKL_KINEMATIK, can you suggest the steps for the 2018 Model. Also are there steps to program the key fob to close the tail gate?

@craig Francis - it’s probably bc you have idrive 5/6 in that f15. What options do you see? Are u using iOS or android? You may also not have rear tailgate module like I do via android.

@@SheziMotorsport Thanks for responding, I did some additional research and found the solution on binmerpost. For the 2018 models, the values under 3011 APPL_PLG_SPEED_PROFIL are modified, specifically those related to ProfikeCloseStopNode1PwmPlg, ProfileCloseStopNode2PwmPlg, ProfileCloseStopNode1PosPlg and ProfileCloseStopNode2PosPlg. The assigned values were changed to 00A0 for all 4 and it works.

@goppal lachhu - does your f15 have soft close? Meaning is the car equipped with this option? There are different latches, parts and wiring for this than standard closing

My car have soft close door, But as far using Beemer code app, I can not find Power Tail Gate Module. There is a Tail Gate Function Module?

Do you have the mod for the rear fog lights?

@francois parent - no I don't, with this pandemic that interior switch has jumped in price and availability is very limited. But than I ha e also heard that 2014 US light doesn't hold rear fog. I have the coding figured out if u need it.

Is it safe to code while engine is on?

@Daily MTB - safe to do with engine off and on trickle charger. You can do it with engine on if no other options.

The Power Tailgate Module is only availible on Android not on Iphone. On my Iphone it only have Tailgate Module not Power Tailgate Module.
