I recommend buy battery from BMW dealership which come with 2 years warranty ( must keep receive ), it will 100% matching for your car since they will ask VIN of your car.
You can buy battery from another shop, just make sure do your own research to match it to your car.

Yes, will need to register new battery. I use bimmercode, which is very easy to use.

Hi, that is AGM battery from Bmw dealer. You can look at part number at 4:49 , and buy the same type battery if you don’t want to buy from Bmw dealer. Remember, if you buy battery from Bmw dealer, you will get 2 years warranty from it.
