And that beer needs to be one I buy for Trig. ;-) Much thanks for these vids -- your one on K bike wheels taught me how to do my KLT's front wheel bearings, and now that I munched the stack in my R90S during a tire change (apparent water incursion) you taught me how to do that one too. These tapered bearings are a little more complicated, but I now completely understand how they work. Prost!

Is it oke to press the bearings in one by one? Or should they be pressed in as a pre-assembled 'stack'? Thanks!

Can you explain why you didn't use the press, seems that would be better than banging on the shaft?

+John Baker Not that you can't, and if it were stuck that would have been done, but in this case it didn't take all that much effort.

Does anyone know of a reliable shop that I can ship my hub to and have them do this job properly on my 63' /2 ? Thanks
