BMW S1000rr Wrecked Bike Rebuild ( PT. 2 BENDING my Subframe Back)
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
I bought a 2013 BMW S1000rr from Built from the bottom that was a project of his from a while ago that he lost interest in so I picked it up for $3000! the BMW does have a salvage and 50k or more miles so it'll be interesting for sure! y'all stay tuned for upcoming videos on the S1000rr. SO CJ media and I tore down the bmw s1000rr, inspected it, and got it running! In this video I took the bike outside to a tree and tied it to it then proceed to hook a heavy duty ratchet strap to my truck and use it to BEND my sub-frame back because it was bent in the wreck!

Ze tree has not having ze requirements to be straight because ze purpose serving is forming ze foundation for ze many hundreds of thousands of lazer line alignments of frame grade bendings zat can proceed to ze QC'ing by eye. Please sir, remember zis one is ze specialist Bavarian Oak Tree! Danke
Just came across this video, that tree isn’t a plumb tree by any chance
wood is good.
This video takes us back to the roots of mechanics
Good is wood..
maybe moving forward you could invest in a more powerful laser that can bend the subframe true with its own power
using a tree for near precise straightening- barking mad
I know you said you don't have one but do you have a link to a good frame machine please?
If you had a two post lift in your garage you could use it to anchor the bike and pull across it to the other post with a come a long. I have done that and it works perfect! You can also take a sharpie and mark on the strap how far you have pulled it then release the tension and if you need to ratchet it past the mark you'll know where you last pulled it to.
Honestly love watching these videos, I am trying to get into some DIY repairs myself. You are an inspiration man!

TreeMW..........
Well done benji Everyone can replace it but not everyone can fix it Keep posting Greetings from Uk😊
Please consider using a tripod - the selfie angle, with it moving around so much is really distracting!

Personally I don’t like the tripod while talking I feel like it’s too stagnant lol but I appreciate the input!
