If its 4 wheels I ask Chris Harris. Involving two wheels Michael Neeves is the man to ask.

Great video. High quality. Honest, incisive and entertaining. And, what a bike!
Could watch your reviews all day Michael. Great stuff thank you...
Neeves goes beast mode. Always an informative listen and a beautiful thing to see!
Great video, the fact that you speak so calmly is good to relax and enjoy the video. And this bike is beautiful !
Love your channel! Been watching you since 2007. You should have million subs brother
Really good report and lovely track film work, you can tell the admiration you have for the bike already: enjoy the coming months on it
Can’t get enough of this beautiful S1000RR🏁💙
Another super professional and personal review. Thanks Michael.
Michael u do more than just a review..... best as always. .. keep it up!
Excellent, looking forward to the rest of the years reviews 👍🏻
Great commentary and insight into the details of the bike, excellent.
Michael Neeves- always been my favourite MCN bike reviews. Keep up the good work and the honest opinions
Better job than most reviews. Thanks.
You are my hero! Keep up the great work.
Nice bike! That SOS button made me smile...
Another awesome review videos Good job Micheal 👍🏻 What a beautiful bike and awesome performances 🥳 .
Always worth the wait for your reviews, and this is as expected, detailed and to the point.
Brilliant video. Just got my S1000R Sport and was good hearing about her big brother :)
Thanks for another informative review
Wow the wood grain matching on the fence behind him is great!
Very good and complete review thanks!
Great post, great review. The best thing about the new BMW S1000RR, they have been NASA approved as a stage 1 rocket ship.

Glad to hear how impressed you are, I’m still very new to the bike scene, had my license for a year and my CBR600F ( 2001 model ) still takes my breath away, but I’m happy watching all you content to see what I might have in 3 or 4 years time !! Can’t you spray the engine protector gold ?
Great review as usual. Thank you. 👍
Great video. The wind had some great opinions.
Great video as always Michael...😎
Great video man just great!!! Thanks.
Just found a new way to do cardio....sit on an exercise bike and watch neevsey do a couple of laps on the RR
who would ever think Carbon Fiber wheels, the name BMW, and the phrase "Value Leader" could all be used the same sentence...? this is like an episode of the TWILIGHT ZONE...!

@Rory The Red Not really true of European manufactures in general but I agree build quality and reliability is not as good these days with BMW cars. Latest JD Power survey has Peugeot and SKODA topping charts as most dependable brands (in UK), followed by Hyundai (BMW / MB / AUDI way down the list). However, my BMW S1000R has been faultless over past year, so fingers crossed for the new RR and BME bikes in general.

Value leader? Please. You can get a R1M which is a track tool at the same price as a s1000rr which is a street sports bike. Imagine the cost of the HP4

@Rory The Red One issue with BMWs is that they have many more features to possibly break. This is much of the source of the increased problem reports along with the increased customer expectation that a premium brand like this needs to be perfect. With that said, my RR has been flawless through 8500 miles as have been my recent M cars (currently an M3).
Michael congrats for your team winning the world cup. Finally🇬🇧
Very impressive. As far as looks go, this thing looks great. Definitely vying for my favorite looking bike vs the V4S (which I'd steer clear of, but still looks amazing).
Good review. MCN really doesn't produce enough vids. I know they have the paper to 'protect', but more output here might actually help. (Like an occasional mcn 250 summary)
That looked fun plunging down Paddock Hill Bend 👍👍
Love the bike.... And that lap of Brands Hatch... Damn I'd love to have a go at that track..... And be able to ride like that, too.
Great review!!
Yeasss nicest to see Nerves back!
Went to the showroom the last day and sat on one and started it up. My first time seeing it in the metal. Really comfortable to sit on - yes the seat is hard so I would have to see how I got on with that long term but there is some comfort seat available. I want one to use as an everyday bike so no track days. I could see myself doing a lot of touring on it with its sat nav and heated grips. It would be great for the odd Sunday blast too. Can't wait to get one now. Dealer (in Ireland) said waiting time from date of order is 10 weeks. Have to ride their demo but they won't let anybody ride it on wet roads so this being Ireland I may have to wait a bit.
I am a car guy myself, but miss those trademark front lights on this thing...nice bike do.
Excellent review 👍🏻👌
Great review, Thanks :)
Can't believe you gave up pies, that's a difficult situ haha. This bike looks way too quick, and you say you didn't lean on it too much. What a beast of a bike, great reviews as always.
Great review man
Great review I'm hoping these arrive here in new Zealand soon with a reasonable price tag or I might end up with the 2018 instead haha
Takes courage to ride that fast, especially on the nurnburgring with all those cars!
@leok7193

I'd say it's past courage into "I don't give a f--k" territory. Courage is acting despite fear, but going this fast there's no time to allow fear to even enter your mind.
Great review. I've owned the 2020 RR M Sport since Aug 2019 and now have about 6500 miles on it. It is a fabulous machine. Amazingly refined and thoughtfully designed. It is better than the previous generation in almost every way. The electronics are terrific, both the riding dynamics and the luxury features provided by the TFT/Bluetooth, etc. It's remarkable that on a track-ready superbike BMW provides phone/helmet/bike integration, Nav, music, phone, cruise control, self-canceling turn signals, hill stop assist and a brilliant performance app. The last enables you to chronical your rides and replay them on a map replete with speeds, acceleration/braking, lean angles, etc. It has been problem-free. I've only had to bring it in for my 600 mile and 6000 mile services, though on the last they performed the oil-cooler replacement recall. My biggest ownership expense is tires, but that's not a bad problem to have. This has been my best two-wheel purchase ever.

I was considering a v4 or r1m but everyone has a r1m so I like to be different I like the grey s1000rr 2020. The v4 looks nice but too hot.. the sat nav cruise control. Plus that awesome dash.. I am thinking rather than buy new get a low mileage second hand m sport but in grey if possible then with that small savings get a full system fitted ..
@bernhtp
4 жыл бұрын
@@smokey9063 I never care what others have. I don't need to be the same nor different. I just look at what it does for me. The V4 (S and R) and the R1M are great bikes, but they aren't nearly as street practical as the RR M. I also kept my stock exhaust. I hate loud and most people I know with fully systems frankly suffer with them. If I made it into a track-only bike, I would get a full system for the weight savings and some power gain (with a reflash), but that isn't the case.
@MADLITS1K

Those electronics seem some what useless on a sport bike, maybe on touring bike it’d make sense but I don’t see the point in all those extra pieces that just drives up the cost when 95% of riders aren’t going to use them
@bernhtp
4 жыл бұрын
@@MADLITS1K You obviously don't ride one. The Bluetooth sends performance telemetry to the app for replay and analysis later. Nav is always a good feature. Heated grips are amazing in winter. The TFT console is the best in the business. I use the helmet intercom/headset when riding with buddies. None of this is wasted. Zero. It's all thoughtful and appreciated. It's also shared with the other BMW upper-end bikes so has little marginal cost.

Is the “performance application” the BMW motorrad connected application that allows replay of ride & specifics?
Holy sh*t you were able to ride out that 3rd gear from down low with explosive power on the track!! Crazy!!
Christ alive, that Brands footage is awesome!!
Amazing reviews Michael , Watch all your videos and could watch it all day . If you had to buy one bike and one bike only , which bike would you buy that s all around bike . What type of watch are you wearing ?
That was a very nice summary of the bike.
Would you say this is the best road super bike going? And if you had one choice right now would you choose the BWM S100RR as your everyday bike? 🙏 Thanks
she looks and sounds awesome 👏🏻
Great review.
Hey Michael if you had to choose this new BMW 2020 or a Honda fireblade 1000? What would you prefer, Are you looking forward to the 2020 Honda CBR 1000 it’s supposed to be upgraded
What a beautiful machine!
Nice review
Awesome, I’ll upgrade next year.
The value for money, i agree. Awesome motorcycle 👍🏽
I don't understand their options, would you buy all the electronic options (pro mode whatever) for a race bike or just stick with a base model?
Kneeves working the gun show for this vid 💪
Great review as always. I wish I had the skills and 40 years no claims to be able to justify buying one. I noticed the panigale v4 review was more about how you felt on it, and this was more about how it impressed you. I wonder which you’d rather pay your own £ for?

Great review
If would be great if you could share the Electronics settings & Suspension settings ect that you would reccomend on track, perhaps for an Intermediate and advanced track rider
Hey! Quick question: I haven’t ridden in 10 years. My last bike was a Harley Davison dyna low rider, about 1500cc. I’m thinking I would like to get the bmw k1600gt or the s1000rr. You and my son actually inspired me to get back into riding. Which would you recommend?
Would you call this a Sportbike or a Sport Tourer ? Many say its slightly more upright riding position now and in road mode could be classed as a tourer?
How does it compare to your R1 long termer? I ask as I've had a 2015 R1 for 5yrs and fancy a change and I'm thinking this is the one to go for.
My old (2015!) RR doesn't have an outside temp gauge... but it does tell you the intake air temp, which is a perfectly good replacement for that. The new RR doesn't give you intake air temp?
Beast of a bike !!
Great vid. I have the same bike. 22 Blue m brakes on mine though.
Have you experienced a dip in the power curve in the low range? All American specs bikes are suffering from this until they got flashed & tuned, which is very annoying! Is the Euro specs bike different in this specific weakness?
Nice review. One point: ergonomics vs old bike?
Stunning Bike. Beautiful.
when will it stop. how good can they get. damn! id love to ride one
Very good review. Mirrors on racetrack? 😉
I wish I had one so fantastic and cool
Thanks
Split function forks... Are they better? Intuitively I feel like the same force should always go through both fork legs.

I'm a little weirded out with that, but I think it's even used in MotoGP if I'm not mistaken. If so, clearly works. I guess a high quality example will be great or good enough and a cheapie version would be crap. Like any suspension.

What route do you take to the ring?
Yeah I ordered mine in May and I’m not getting it till February next year
Just beautiful
I wonder what these camshafts are made of
I wonder how this will stack up to 2020 V4S, and also your opinion against the "budget priced" GSXR1000R ?
any major change in parts? like engine problems?
Blitzer forever! I hope they make a 600cc version of it.
with super bikes in this range you actually only can decide using your taste of design and the ergonomics other then that they all perform at fractions of a second differences which you as a rider can improve on your skills
Wondering if you've run into any of the reported problems other owners have mentioned? I.e. inconsistent tire pressure warnings, no throttle below 9k rpms and TFT display not holding custom screen selections? I also, saw that for trackday riders there's no way to turn off the headlights??

How's the wheels? Is the CF strong enough for the road?
very tasty riding there on track.
Did they fix the huge power and drop issue?
Do you get a chance to buy it at the end of the test Michael? Would make a great daily rider
