Just wondering what you glued the grips on with and is it working ok with the heated grips? I usually use Hair spray but not sure how it will go with the heated grips on my S1000R

Man...I just changed of mine right now and was sooo terrible. Were glue all inside of the grips...Man...why BMW do that? To force us to change all the handles?

hi thanks for your video, but does the heating element peel of the handle bar when you push the new hand grip? or its nicely rapped around the bar?

Yes, as long as you are very careful as stated in the video it will be wrapped around the bar just as it's supposed to be. Just be gentle and careful, and make sure you use enough alcohol so that the grip goes on smoothly and you do not displace the heating element.

hi again thanks for your kid reply. one more question please. is the outer handle bar diameter of the S1000RR same as other sport bikes although the S1000RR includes a heating element on it? i mean are all sport bikes inner diameter hand grip same? thanks a lot for your kind help. yours hameed

I am sorry I do not recall the exact diameter of the grip, but what I can tell you is that all S1000RR's have standard/the same sizing. In other words, if you have the heating element option installed it will be the same diameter as an S1000RR without the heating element.. it adds no additional size.

So were these a standard sized set of grips or did you buy 2 sets and use the throttle side on both sides? I am assuming that the grip has to be bigger than standard on the clutch side because of the element underneath it. Its not going straight onto the 7/8s bar.

i had the same problem - you can use a nylon wheel brush - look at my channel

Plz tell the name and size of grips as i do have same heathed grips and need to replace then up

I just looked at the receipt from my purchase. It wasn't anything fancy and I believe the grips are the standard size for a superbike - I ordered the Pro Grip 699 Sportbike Gel Grip from Motorcycle Superstore.

@@1mianhasan Sure, I am sure there are fancier grips, but these were nice and understated since they're plain black. I also found them very comfortable and grippy - they looked good and for the price I am not sure what could've been better to be honest!

Sorry - I didn't think it was required to show how to slide on a grip when I made the video. To clarify, I just used rubbing alcohol and generally was able to slide it on - it took some time.

Your short video does not show anything useful.
