*Correction, the CX-70 trunk space is much larger than 15.9 cubic-feet - that was an error (that's the CX-90's dimensions with the seat raised).

They're all look alike. This is just the CX90 without the third row seats. It's just how they cut cost in the design and manufacturing.

@@JoeE. Well, it gives the option to the buyer to get what size and combination they want. And if the design is good, it's okay for them to keep it as much as they can get away with.

Mike you need to ad a dark red blazer to your outfit that match’s the red interior it would look dope.😂 Ian I think you might have confused the trunk space; the CX-90 has 15.9Cu-ft behind all 3 rows, 40.1 behind the 2nd row…. The Cx-70 is pretty similar in size to the Cx-90 and it only has two rows, so if you can fit two carry-ons behind each other it’s probably closer to 40.1Cu-ft.😊

The CX 70 looks like a smaller version of a CX 90 like CX 7 was a smaller version looks of a CX 9 when they first came out in the late 2000s. However, I think the CX 70 could’ve did a different design on the back side.

It's one of the best hood/front ends out there. I just wish they'd do something with the rest of the car. The "sporty hatchback" look isn't doing it for me. I'd prefer a more squared off rear end or something.

Benefits are: Keeps your attention on the road, keeps your screen clean, you actually don't need to touch on the screen as long as you use the rotational selector and is pretty easy to use. What???? You must be joking. It's not even remotely close to the CX-50! The CX-70 is *EXACTLY* the same vehicle as the CX-90. They simply removed the back seat and changed a few exterior trims. Hell, they didn't even bother removing the 3'rd row cup holders! I recently bought a new CX-5 Grand Touring. Before ordering it, I seriously considered waiting for the CX-70 to be released. Like "everyone else in North America", I was led to believe that the CX-70 would be very similar to the European "CX-60", and so somewhere in between the CX-50 and the CX-90. I'm so glad that I didn't wait for it. What a waste of time that would've been. Nobody saw this coming! The CX-70 is a total surprise and a massive disappointment!

Well maybe you got the correct info a month ago, but for the last 2 years there's been a bunch of videos posted by potential customers like you and I ---> to certified Mazda dealers who "speculated" what the North American cx-70 would look like. I was very hesitant about buying my new cx-5 a few months ago because the "buzz-word" was that it would be very similar to the European cx-60. Now "THAT" would've been a game changer for Mazda - a 2-row SUV built somewhere in between the cx-50 and the cx-90 in size. In any event Mazda was VERY tight-lipped about it, so no one knew for certain up until a couple of weeks ago. Based on the vast majority of comments recently posted on several vids since the big "reveal", the common theme is crystal clear! --- NO ONE expected it to be a cx-90 without a rear seat! Nobody!!! @@heNzVf20c

Before buying, read Mazda forums about the CX-60, which is technically identical with CX-70 (engine, gears, transmission, electronics, interior...). The car is badly underengineerd / undertested. Having it every month in repairs due to severe issues is no exception.

As nice as this Mazda is I don’t think anyone who is on the market for a BMW would choose this.

Totally agree. This is a beautiful car. Currently drive a Mazda CX-5 Signature. Though I enjoy driving it will be giving it back and waiting for production of 2025 BMW X3. Been spoiled by BMW. Love the looks and the drive. That B58 engine is a dream. Not trying to take anything away from Mazda as they are making very good vehicles. I’m just a BMW lover.😊

The infotainment system is a bit too small for such a large vehicles, the only drawback for what appears to be a premium ride!

The fact that they call this model by a different name is ridiculous. It's way too damn big. I was initially interested, but seeing how huge it is and that it's just a 2 row CX90.

@leanmachine3251 it's 200+ inches long with comparable space to crossovers that are a foot shorter. Why buy something that is a foot longer that has less space? Unless it HAS to be a Mazda.

Let haters hate, you do great reviews 🤍 Mazda brings something different than other brands including BMW. Maintenance, parts and labor cost more on beemers for a few different reasons. Mazda offers luxury, economy and reliability without all the BS

That's a great looking SUV. I would definitely be interested in that blacked out version. Only thing I am curious about is how reliable these Inline-6 engines are. Coming from a BMW I would only consider this over an X3 if the maintenance was cheaper and it was more reliable.
