Yep! I like my 2014’s old dials gauges much more than the Huge TFT. Great bike!

Yeah! Specially the new TFT’s on the newest RT’s and GT’s get a bit out of hand… Maybe they should bring back the analog dials and make a combination of analog and a bigger TFT. A bit of an updated version of the 2014 style.
I’ll still give comfort to my old street glide special. Legs cramp after about an hour on my RT
Couple local guys have 170,000 MILES and 150,000 MILES.

Nice! Very curious to see what those bikes are really capable of!
Greets from AUS. Currently riding an '02 R1150RT that Ive had for about 9 years now. Still a decent bike but defo looking at upgrading in the future. Dont think Id spend the money on a brand new one so if Id buy used I dont think Id get newer than a 1250RT 2020 model. I also prefer the analog dials with a sep display for the electronics. Im not totally against the TFT but I wish it was intergrated into the fairing better rather than just look like a tablet stuck to the front. Looks like an after thought. Also,it should have option to switch between digi display and simulated analog dials, that would be good. I believe the RS has this at least for the tacho, not speedo.
GS 2013 here, like the analog meters….
Nice video. Thanks for sharing your experience!

It’s a external microphone. DJI Mic. For more info please look for the video of the camera and mic setup on my channel. Thanks for watching the video!
Hi, would you change your GS for this RT as your main ride for mainly road and touring use?

I’m 1m88. If I was a bit smaller I would consider changing. But because of my hight I fit the GS a bit better. Doing full day rides on the GS I don’t feel anything. On my RT I always felt a bit sore in my shoulders and knees. Otherwise I think the bikes are very similar, only the RT’s give a bit more of a luxurious feeling. Whatever you choose, RT or GS you will enjoy every trip :)

@@ChasingCurves. I'm 1.90m and 100kgs. I'm big. The only bike that can fit me is a GSA. I've always been curious of the RT. But the position and knees throws me again from it. As long as I have a big screen on the GSA I can handle the big highway miles. But always was curious.

@@Maxijyze similar to me then, guess for big boys like us the 1200-1250 GSA’s are the best fit!
Curious what and how much did the maintenance cost over that time?

To be honest I have no idea since I only recently bought this bike. I heard they replaced the clutch and the tire pressure sensors. Drive shaft had the recall action so that’s also been replaced (for free). For the rest I don’t think much broke except the regular maintenance. Brake discs won’t survive till 200k, that’s something to do in the coming 10-20k.
