I saw in a video from another KZreads, that he compared the length of the old and new chain when he replaces timing chain and sprockets. But one can asume the BMW engineered the bike to uphold 100.000km, also BMW is pretty much a standard motor cycle as goverments use them. p.s. both parts of the oilpump housing are 75€ and 35€ parts. Nuts, bolts, rings, shims and spacers are the most expensive parts of BMW, relatively viewed, trust me, that's how I'm restoring mine.

Did you apply the yellow paint marks? Are they really required? Thank you for doing this, your timing could have been better.

Yeah i put a dab of paint on places for the reassemble, ill go into more detail of setting timing up and valve adjustment on the rebuild,
