Tesla moves only 0.2 seconds after the Mercedes (he moved before her arms were even down) and the BMW has the worst reaction, moving 0.12 seconds after the Tesla. Remember that the Model 3 is more sluggish off the line than a Model S because the main motor is a PMM, it has a little delay from slamming the throttle to full power.

@@andrijabandolero6242 its just simple maths. The Model 3 beats those cars on paper. but whats more important is that the perfect launch in a Non-EV is more an art than a science and you will never get the advertised 0 to 60 at i.e. a stoplight. with an EV you get it everytime.

For a non-M car the M850i is really damn quick.

Wow, You got a model 3 with brakes. When I was trying one i did get one that had poor brakes. Didnt stop at all, and i was running out of stretch so I had to let to off the brakes to manage take the curve. Good test

@@davidko77 Yeah in the most perfect conditions when all they planets align, while the E63S can do reliable 11.2's. And might also be able to get to 11.1. And the competitor of the m5 comp is the gt63s.

Not really... The Merc moves first (before her arms are even down), Tesla moves 5 frames later (0.2 seconds) and the BMW moves 3 frames (0.12 seconds) after that. The Model 3 is more sluggish off the line than a Model S, the main motor is a PMM which has a bit of lag in the throttle response from a dead stop. As for the SoC, seems to be around 80%? Which delivers barely any less power than 100%.

@@xeigen2 You can start moving when the hands start going down, you don't have to wait before the hands are completely down. If you play it at 0,25 you can see that the merc started when the hands where like halfway.

Do a drag race when the refreshed Model S and X P100 Ludicrous get launched in September

Lets have a light in each car that comes on during running qautermile. So that drivers really start to accelerate on the same time.

Interesting premise for the race.

Nice to see the consistency because here the Tesla Model 3 did the 1/4 mile in 11.8 seconds here, and it also did 11.8 seconds in your test against the Audi RS4 and BMW M3! 😎👍🏼
