Gtr is quicker than the m5, but it shouldn't be that much faster, either the GTR is tuned or the m5 driver forgot to press the m button.

The m5 driver does know what he is doing, the Gtr is tuned a lot by the look of things, I've raced a few Gtrs from a roll and it's really close.

m button is clearly on, you can see it on the dash. He should have been driving in s6 mode though. Night and day compared to s5 and then the m5 should destroy the GTR top end. Key is to wind these cars out, they are high rev cars. If you don't know when to shift you are toast.

the GTR is just an animal,hard to beat.

Да будет тебе известно твой гтр гавно как и после 2-3 лаунч.котрольных заездов кипит КПП,по мимо всего его рвет фольсваген R HDP,порше 911 турбо s,ауди RS 6и 7 итд.Так что сначала разберись а потом шуми,к стати у этого поршака как у бмв м5 привод задний а у ГТР полный вот и быстрый старт Архимед ты наш.

Мне одному кажется что GTR обходит M5 как стоячую

ГТР вообще пуляет зачетно, причем как со старта, так и с хода. . Но в нем как в табуретке, целый день не особо поездишь. Если бы Е60 была на полном приводе, то пуляла бы со старта значительно лучше. я на своей Е60 530xi как-то в дождь объехал М5 Е60 до 60км/ч. Ему просто не хватало зацепа, учитывая что температура за бортом была около +2.

It Is modded Plus The BMW only Had 400ps because of No M Button that adds 107ps so It was 400 instead of 507ps because the GTR can beat the M5 from a 1/4mile dig but After That M5 Will catch up and pull away

This video is not comparing luxury or comodities, for that go rate a car and driver video! This is comparing the STREET Power, dragging, RACING! And for that hands down the GTR beats them. The GTR is a street racing Super car, the M5 is a luxury sports car (on steroids in the M line). I own both an M3 and a GTR (both stock except exhaust in the GTR). I was search for a total diffent thing when I bought them. When I want luxury and comodities I drive the M and when I whant that adrenaline rush and beat the shit out of most of the mass productions cars in todays market I drive the GTR! Grow some neurons people!!

M5 driver is running in S1 or S2 if you look closer in one of the races. That's one of the slowest shift settings... A BIG significant difference there.. Should have been closer but the GTR would still win though.

Wrong. There is an additional shifting setting when traction control is disabled known as S6.

There is a S6 mode... Put the car in manual, traction fully off, and u can move the gear change speed to 6!

The gtr is not stock, at motorway speeds it is a very close race between these two, not a standing start obviously

BTW, there's something wrong with that M5. Probably needs a major tune up and spark plugs are long due. That will rob serious power. I have real rolling races between GT-R and E60 M5 on the highway and they are very close. From a stop, the GT-R is hard to beat with almost any car out there. But rolling race, especially a highway encounter, the M5 is serious business. Of course if you mod the GT-R, then it will eat anything alive... but you can boost the V10 in the M5 and be also out on anything.

Take it off D and put it in manual, only then will you have S-6 mode. Power button on.

That's really a carrera? Sounds and runs like a boxter. Porsche has stepped their game up on the caymans and the boxter both though. 4.4sec to 60mph isn't bad for the slowest Porsche's ever made even though they are $50,000+ for only 300-350hp..

From a roll the M5 should have pulled on the GTR. From a dig the GTR murders the M5, but something is not right with that E60 M5, Possibly M-Drive setting at p400 instead of p500, or mechanically something is off!
