The BMW has the legs on the straights, but I'm seriously impressed with the Volvos capability in the corners, especially exit speeds. Very Smooth, very nice driving my friend.. Good Video

M2 driver was clueless. Understeering all over the track. That Volvo is a race baiting track car that's had a lot of work done and you can tell the driver knows the track and is a good driver. The M2 in the hand of a good driver would be long gone

@@robbyjai The M2 chassis is sublime, an absolute masterpiece in the right hands. The 850R's isn't bad at all considering the age and the weight of it.

Amigo aun sin preparar ,el volvo se lo papa en paso por curva… aun y no nos olvidemos que este modelo perfectamente andara de los 25 años para arriba mientras ke el mk 2 tampoco le faltara preparacion… si tuvieras la SUERTE de haber conducido un 850 T 5 lo sabrias ke pedazo de makinote.

Love the car! How high were you revving the engine? It seemed like you were shifting earlier than I’d expect judging by the noise, but I may be wrong. Love the Volvo!!

Hi thanks! I shift normal around 5500rpm. My 18t turbo can do around 6000rpm. After that it's not pulling anymore 🤗

As a Volvo 2016 S60 R Design Polestar owner I approve of this video. Lol Seriously tho that was an exciting lap to watch. I wanna have a go at that M2! But he had some serious power in the straights. Was it stock or modified?

Pretty darn sure it's heavily modded. I've driven stock 850Rs and while they are wonderful in stock form and still on my dream sheet, they're not at this level. Would love to know what this guy did to his! Impressive all the way around. Enjoy your S60! Gorgeous vehicles.

Some old Volvo fcks a brand-new BMW what's new?

It's silly to comment anything about cars at nurburgring. One driver could be capable of going 9 minutes btg, another 7. The cars don't matter here, because if you are not familiar with nurburgring mk1 miatas will pass you like no business even if you drive latest m car or decent Porsche.

@@emielbekhuis sure, I agree what you say and video is really enjoyable! Thanks. It's just that some commenters are like: "I didn't knew Volvo were making such cars..", or "Volvo is a corner champion and pig m2 only fast in a straight". Any decent track build no matter old or new can challenge most road cars and all decent road cars are sub 8 nowadays. If a driver is not sub 8 so he can drive McLaren and result will be the same. Cheers 😉
