BMW M1000R - Hypernaked
Anything that BMW produces that bears the letter M in its designation, has always been something really special, exclusive, powerful and cutting edge when it comes to performance and technology. In this episode I ride and review the second ever motorcycle that BMW have produced which carries this prestigious letter M.
In previous episodes I have covered the full offering by BMW when it comes to their naked bikes from the little G310R to the F900R, the R1250R, the S1000R and now here is the top of this pile being the Hypernaked for a better word, the M1000R. Something truly rare and special, but how does it perform in every day use?

What an awesome machine 👍! Great review. Would you buy one? I’m sure everyone wouldn’t mind having one in the corner of the garage. Maybe not the one bike purchase, although if you’re lucky enough to have a few in the collection, this would be one of them.

Crazy thing is that from looks I really love the M1000RR Superbike, however having ridden this R I think I would go for this bike. Stunning and very unusual. Dream garage stuff….
In Rain Mode, what is the horse power reduced to?
Winglets! 😂 price ! 😢, Do we really need all that power on a naked?

the winglets look so out of place imo, like an aliexpress add on.

Winglets are the 16" front wheel of the 2020's............... Let's see how long they keep them on the new models.........Looks like a Ducati Streetfighter otherwise. 😎
I like BMW bikes, I have 2, but cosmetically this looks a mess to me. A bit like a a piece of camouflage trying to find a tricolour flag to hide in front of.

I thought that, but it looks more cohesive when you see it “in the flesh”. Even the headlight looks better.
