Such a shame that you removed the maintenance free dlc chain for a regular old chain. Aluminum sprockets aren't worth the weight savings IMO

@@danlford I’d be surprised if it makes it through 1 of his smack downs lol .. the sport bike guys that test their luck usually do steel/aluminum .. the inner part aluminum while the teeth steel.. tiny bit of weight savings isn’t worth it unless it’s a dedicated track machine.

It was never gonna pick up top end power, it gained a ton of midrange. Wait till he gets cams and custom tune, not just some base flash tune and you’ll see 210+

Man ib that run up to 190 mph on the dyno is crazy she ain't skipping nowhere on the rev range you trying to destroy Cleveland this summer respect

With all due respect, I think there was some misinformation given in the video. The gain in the mid range and low end after the exhaust is because of the header design of the Akrapovic exhaust installed. The header is designed after countless hours of R&D done by Akrapovic, and if you take a look at the header that was installed, there are "steps" in certain parts of the header. This is all done to alter the flow characteristics of the exhaust which results in the power increases in the low and mid range power band. The top end missing on this bike is most likely because of the bike not being tuned to take advantage of the free flowing exhaust system which it has on, which once Brentuning gets their flash out should take care of.

I've been saying this. It's actually hilarious to think the M would suddenly gain even one hp with a longer end can. All the power gains is in the headers. Once Bren gets the M I'm their hands let the actual tuning commence. 650 ib has half this thread convinced the M will gain a ton of power with a longer slip on 🤨

man BIG PROPS to them selling those velocity stacks for 400 bucks.. like for real. In these times where it seems like greed is just getting out of control it's unbelievably awesome they are getting 10whp outta those and for only 400$ when they could easily sell them for 3 times as much. there are no words to explain just how much respect I have for you guys

It is insane how much power and torque that bike makes in the mid and low end. It's like it has an extra 150-200 cc

I don't really know who they're trying to sell this too. Drag bikes, street bikes or track bikes? $400 for the street is just a bit too high IMO especially since they're not CF. It might be an okay price for the other categories if they're made to order

@@loudmotos1123 velocity stacks are designed by simulated computers programs,fluxe dynamics,charges, engine power banks , made this pieces of plastic,carbon or titanium is a ''detail'' ... important is the power gain engine curve ... ( a lot of work hours)

Just as important as the horsepower, look at that torque. It's not just peak torque at 88 but it's almost that amount of torque constant all the way through the whole entire power band. Insanely torque-y bike.

Is the BMW “M” worth getting and paying 16k extra if you aren’t going to track it? How are you feeling about the M over a regular 1000rr? If you had to pick one super bike of all super bikes which would you choose? I’m looking to buy one and money doesn’t matter but there’s so many choices. I was thinking H2 but really liking the look of the M and Fireblade

I like bigger mufflers anyways, sounds better aswell

Extremely cool video but........Stop looking for excuses about end cans. The M makes very similar power to the S. Both bikes have shorty exhausts Also you're talking perhaps one hp difference between the end cans. All the power gains for the k67 is found in the headers

Try to wpc treat the sprocket i believe it will make the last much longer because it solidifies the surface and decrease friction massively

We do, it's illegal, but most cops don't care and we don't need to smog check bikes here.

Thought engine ice had glycol which made it illegal on the track. Water wetter doesn’t which is track legal

I think a longer exhaust is gonna look better. can`t wait too see how it looks and if it helps whith the gains

@@astu46 both bikes have shorty's on them. In fact, the Arrow is a true shorty exhaust. We've compared shorty's to long cans at the dyno, there is hardly a difference. Bren on the RR page Facebook group was stating today that, so far the M hasn't hasn't been the powerhouse they've been expecting, however hopefully they'll be able to gain more power through tuning.

Engine Ice! NOTE* SportbikeTrackTime & Mid-Ohio approves use on track, but N2trackdays DOESN'T allow it at their track events! I use it in my street/track bikes so their protected for the freezing months of winter! Dude that S1000MMMMmmmmm Captain America is hella niiice! A buddy of mine just got a S1000RR (M package) and cant wait for next year smacking me down at the track! :)

Well, from what Mani says that Arrow header doesnt make the power of the Akra header. So lets see an S1000RR with full Akra exhaust vs M1000RR with same. See the M is down on power in some spots vs the S. Other then that pretty indentical

Can't wait for you to put the long can Akrapovic exhaust on the M1000RR, I seriously dislike the look of the short cans. Hope you pick up a few more HP and Torque!.
