Regardless of what level of OEM speakers you have in your car, there are absolutely easy ways to upgrade the quality of sound. One of the quickest ways of doing so, even with the OEM speakers, is the amp upgrade from ‪@bimmer-tech‬! Not only is it a significantly better amp than OEM, it adds the incredible functionality of being a programable amp! You can make changes yourself, or coordinate with BimmerTech, who can do custom work through remote sessions off of a laptop.
The difference is DRAMATIC and absolutely worth it!
Required parts and tools:

Nice!! The thing I love is how you can program this amp, and Bimmertech can do it remotely as well.

Just got my m2c and yes the stock sound system really sucks. My wife has an 2014 Acura TL with the ELS and wow night and day. Sounds like this is a good upgrade even with stock speakers. Might be making the jump. Thanks for the video!

I've gotten used to the HK in my M2 but thought it was total garbage on test drives and living with the car. My prev VW had dynaudio speakers and amps (OEM) as well as being able to adjust mid, bass and treble which HK cannot do. I'd love to have that punch and control the dynaudio had but the M2 is not exactly a quiet platform to exploit and my commutes are ten minutes long lol

I totally get that too as I dont drive very much right now, but I know that will change. This amp makes a huge difference even with the stock speakers.

Dude. This installation is absolutely NOT Plug-and-Play. As you've shown, you have to dismantle half the trim in the trunk to get at the amp. Plug-and-Play in the lexicon means "simple". The amp part of the procedure is simple but the whole process is not. I was interested in making this swap until I watched your video and now I'm not interested.

It's easier than you think plus not having to cut plugs or run new wiring is plug and play.

Are you stupid? Plug and Play means no cutting or splicing wires. This is about as easy as it gets. Lmao
