Thanks! I had one from 2005 'till 2017 & I love every moment of it. By the way, one day, a young German woman, the niece of a friend, came to visit me & when she saw my BMW Scarver, she exclaimed "Ho! The girls' bike"... I assume that she knew about it back home. Note that I'm an older Frenchman, 1m70 & 65 kg, which is average for a German lady :)

2 points ahead of Miss Deauville? Eeehm, I'm not quite sure. I'm trying to swope my previous endurance bike and I'm in a bit of a trouble when it comes to 650CS but your video helped to take me one step closer towards the final decision cause I'm not the type of guy who likes to change his bikes in every year. That hole on the tank make worry, though. From the other hand its really hard to find a used Deauville available in a "realitevely proper" condition on the market in Hungary nowadays. Cheers anyway guys.

I don't think the guy in the video will answer you haha. The reason bikes do that is so they don't look like car headlights at night. If you were looking down the road and saw two little lights together you would think that's a car far away. Rather than a very close motorcycle. You can imagine how that might go wrong.

+Wozza kirk --- You are right... But... He did say the f650 was the first chain drive. The '97 f650st is a chain. The CS they went to a belt. But I agree that its misleading.
