I tried it without removing it and I had fitment issue, so I contacts Mishi Moto and they recommend me cutting it off to get it completely sealed witch is why I removed it and added to the video

@@Tesr117 I got mines without removing it. Of course while I did watch your video before installing mine, I did things a bit different than you. I clamped the hose to the air box, and install it as one unit.

Solo Bellimino I couldn’t get mine to set flush with the alignment tab, glad you where able to thou would be better so you could put the original back on if you plan to resale later on. There are a few different ways to install it!

DOSAGE MEDIA for in response yes 100% but in power no because the N52 motor doesn’t let you push any power!! So ima swap that motor out

Please tell me you haven’t been putting brake fluid into your power steering system, also o rings generally refer to rubber gaskets, the metal rings are hose clamps, I also saw your comment about how n52 can’t push power and you’re going to swap it, at that point buy another car and people easily and more reliably than an n54 push like 400 out of the n52

I know all that info but at the moment my brain wasn’t working lmao and yes it’s getting swapped! I dont want an BMW motors in this car no more they the most unreliable crappy motors in the world lol I want something easy and able to push power

Give me a good week at least lol that’s the secret this car is going to have two versions one with the motet I’m putting next and then after a few years with that motor I’m putting the final motor from Japan in it!! Yes, the muffler, reservoir and 2 pair of cats! My new set up has bigger piping for a deeper rumble and took off the cats on the headers so now it’s fully straight piped

Usually anything involving cars you want to be gentle and careful, unless you need to force something

If you cut the tab I cut off it should fit right one with little to no force, then just the matter of tighten the O-ring.

Does this add horsepower and sound ???

Horsepower wise didn’t feel a difference but does add throttle response and deeper exhaust sound

Someone dyno'd it with a silicone intake boot on their n52 and they said it gave them about 5 to 7 hp.

@@Tesr117 and you're right although there's apparently a 5 to 7 hp gain you don't feel it but you do feel the throttle response though which is nice.
