I have an identically equipped 745d only with a black interior. 2006. currently 342 tk. A fantastic car. It will stay in my collection until the end. I change the oil in the engine every 10 thousand kilometers (Millers 5w40 c3), in the gearbox every 40 thousand kilometers (Ravenol 6hp)

Oh wow. I admit, I let the car decide when to change the engine oil. Usually between 25-30tkm🙈. Transmission service with oil flush was done by ZF at about 250tkm. But had no problems before but Shifting operations seemed a bit "softer" to me afterwards. I will have it done again by the end of the year (mileage now 515000). Differential oil has never been changed🙈, but I will have it done soon. Up to now i can't hear my differential.... Do i really have one? 🤔😂😂😂

@@whotookfrosty I recommend 75w90 oil for the differential. I fill mine with Millers Trx Synth 75w90 - change every 30-40 thousand km. from what you write, you change oil very rarely, and yet the car runs great. this just proves how durable these cars are. I have 6 cars in my collection, but this BMW 745d will stay with me forever. They don't produce cars like this anymore.

Oh and had to replace the intake air manifold mechanism. Fell apart between 200-300tkm

@@whotookfrosty great to hear that no problems with camshaft or vacuum pump etc. Water pump and glow plugs are quite simple and normal maitenance, camshafts are not that🤣
