BMW E53 X5 Left Headlight doesn’t work! Problem fixed! AHM problem. Easy Fix

We did work on 2006 BMW X5 4.8is (any E53 X5 and other bmw models with adaptive headlights might have this issue). Driver side headlight did not work. Bulb was good. The adaptive headlight module which is located behind the fuse box gone bad. Relatively easy fix

My low beams work but my high beam won’t come on. It’s weird because if I pull and hold the light which on the steering wheel the high beams come on.

That can be fuse, relay, bad wire connection or bad headlight module which is under the headlight assembly

I had this same issue and it was eventually fixed by replacing the entire fuse box.

@@aslanmammadov2230 Do you think if you just replaced the adaptive headlight module part and not the ballast and igniter it would have worked? I'm having the same problem. My passenger side headlight (lowbeam) was flickering when making turns, and then one day it turned off completely. I replaced the bulb, but that wasn't it. I'm wondering if I should try this before I replace the ballast and igniter.

@@akafrostbyt3 I removed the battery terminal and put it back it started to work. After driving a car for a short time it would quit again. So I replaced the module under the glove box and it fixed the problem permanently. Try unplugging battery first and see if does anything. If not check the ballast under the headlight and see if there is any visual corrosion
