DISA parts can be bought made of metal ,so you do not have the breaking problem that you get with plastic ?? Jubilee clips best undone with small spanner,then you do not break tops off Good video and nice to see clean engine for a change

Is it always trowing P1500 (open and stuck)? And it is posible they dieing like the MAF sensor or is it just good or bad?

Mine is m54 2.5l 2004, i changed 3 ICV and 1 DISA but the code still come up after 5min driving... do you have any other solutions?

rough idle engine shutting off rpm fluctuation stays on when giving gas

Spraying loads of wd40 inside the stuck icv would've solved your problem. Well at least it did it in my case. 👍

Is this happen with P0505 code or not?

ICV i controling idle RPM so anything like rough, bouncung idle might be the symptoms, usually cleaning helps

What were the other potential causes you were going to mention? Feel like I missed theses. Maybe you were explaining that when the sound cut out 😂

idle air control regulating valve stays buzzing even after I turn off the car , I never replaced it got the car with 47,000 and now it has 157,000 miles.

I'm not hating on the video but there's no reason to have to remove the filter period

I recently changed my fuel pump and ff, but for some reason not enough fuel ain't making it to the injectors. What are your thoughts

Hi mate, love the vids. I have a few problems with my e46 320ci. Would you be interested in having a look at it? My main problem is pulling away. Kangaroos down the road without the right clutch control and feels as if the revs drop when you go to accelerate.

You reset the code after replace? Because otherwise the code stays

Watch for vacuum leaks or either o rings replacing in various sensors or even engine or oil pan gasket leaks

You can move them without any problem as long ignition is off ,You can also do throttle adaptation with your key and pedal

That's just what dealers tell people to scare them from doing there own service work. Have confidence....because YOU can do it.

Great video on idle control valve. Could have done without the music.

The music could do with being a bit louder ffs
