My e46 318i , with 141 hp, steptronic transmission, without that burnout, does 0 to 100km , in 9 seconds

It's not a good test. Too many variables, some are auto and manual, and the 325 has a remap. It's reving to 7k rpm

Yeah that 325i should not be accelerating on the same level as the 330i, the displacement difference really does make a difference. Don’t know why they would use a remapped car for this

When taking into account mechanical power loss the MB54b25 makes 189hp not 192 as so many people say. And if that 325 has a remap it's quite likely has other mods as well like an intake or exhaust which would give it a couple extra hp.

My 318ti compact easily got 8.3 secs to 100 , I guess it's faster cuz the car is lighter but yea..

It's a nice idead but not that well executed, some are modified some are not, the 330d and 320d have dpf deletes since you can hear the wine that comes from an empty dpf You should take stock cars instead of straight piped cars for a proper comparison, especially sound wise, BMWs sound way better with a proper exhaust then some shitty straight pipe Next problem is the driver: if the driver shifts badly it's way slower, as example: i had a 318ti which made 0-100km/h in about 9 secs even tho it had over 200.000km on it so unless that one was auto or the engine was bad or something it would've been faster, which includes the next problem gearbox: the automatic is really shit, mate has a 325i and i could nearly keep up with him on the straight since his auto is kinda fucked So for the next vid: -Stock cars -Proper videos not some that were filmed with a toaster -Use ~ for acceleration since there's driver error included, a.e. 318i ~10secs, in the higher trims it's more important how fast the car is on .1 base but there you could take properly taken vids for -Always take vids with manual since there can't be much wrong with a manual besides the clutch being non existent, automatics can have tons of problems -If the person doesn't write down if it's modified etc. either try contacting the person or use another video in which is stated if it's stock (usually people write it in descriptions) Besides that it's a nice idea and love that you included all engines, since most people tend to leave diesels out just because they dislike diesels since they don't give you much sound

Where are you going to find stock versions of all these engines with owners that are willing to test Max acceleration? This car is approaching classic vintage and the amount of people willing to punish their motors is getting smaller everyday.

@@zippySquirrelface As an E46 owner, I don't know a single person who treats their E46 like a classic. If that's "vintage", then the E36 is a museum piece hahaha... and people still drift and have fun with them too. Doing hard accelerations isn't "punishing" your motor lmao, it was meant to do that. I have a friend with an E39 528i - 400 thousand km, gets floored to redline daily, it pulls and runs like brand new

​@@MrMisiek696 the regular Astra 2.0 136 hp does 0-100 in 9 seconds in the official Opel data - videos on youtube seems to confirm the acceleration of stock car is ~9 seconds. My previous E46 320d , chip tuned to 190 hp did 7.2 seconds on Dragy GPS (i sold it because I hate the diesel sound and feeling). I personally can't believe it's 7 seconds unless you got real proof of acceleration on straight road (not downhill), even better if measured with a performance device
