Man when you pointed at the check coolant obc reading I was just reminded of a series of unfortunate events and bad luck I always seem to get nice fanstatics amazing looking cars with the word freakin mechanical failure lol 😢 I guess its better than nothing! But I just stumbled on your page for just pure pleasure nice works brotha ! I’ve been working on these cars since I was 18 and I’m in my early 30s now and almost 3 of my s50/s52 engine have all had head gasket leaks where it’s hottest On near the exhaust side and the that 30year old head gasket just says no to me I’ve had enough lol. Luckily In all 3 cases I’ve dealt with this failure the coolant luckily seeps outward instead of mixing with the oil !!! Have you seen a few of those situations ? Listen to this now. Lmao I’m just laughing at my own shit luck because I just ran thru my personal car and finished the head gasket and refresh and got the car finally going this august and it hasn’t even been a year and now the intake side sprung a leak at the head gasket 🤯🤯🤯 I literally just was in the engine and now one oil change later and a couple thousand sunny California summer miles the dam head gasket crapped out and it’s oozing coolant near clyinder 2 on the intake side now bro hdhzehbfjddhddndndbfjfhdhrhxfhdhdhdhfhfhf!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Having dropped 3 trannies, I’m a pro at removing and installing these BMW trannies. Top tips, dry test the pilot bearing on the tranny. Mark the output shaft to the clutch tool at 12 oclock and align clutch disk with the clutch tool. Trans goes in w minimal effort. Smooth like buttah! I do this on my back on jackstands.

the key honestly is cleaning the snout and applying a tiny bit of grease. apply pressure on the alignment tool while torquing the pressure plate and the trans will go on first time smooth as silk every time. can't even count how many S5D 310/320s I've dropped.. hundreds.
