By far the most throughout detailed guide for dummies on how to glue/repair the e36 door panel. I showed this to my customer recently who was curious as to why I charged him the amount I did for repairing all 4 of the sedan door. Quality work is hella time consuming and these guys don’t get it 🤷🏼‍♂️👌🏼

Detailed video - no need to wash where you are going to glue if you prep by roughing up surfaces...........just flapper disk then wipe surfaces clean with acetone or similar. And what is with soooo much glue - seems like about 3 x what is needed to achieve same strength. I dunno - just my opinion after having used 1000 of tubes of PL and the like. You do a good job of showing everything you do - thank you for posting the video.

i had the same thought.. with how thick it is, id fear that theyd stand off a millimeter or 2 away from the door frame.. im going to just run a bead on one side and use a putty knife to spread it evenly

Hi, thank you very much for this video. Is there a part number for the black plastic strip that attached to the top of the door card and is used to hook the panel onto the door? In my e36 3.25i coupe it is made of composite board but I would ideally like a plastic strip? Do you know how to source one?

Not sure how active you are these days, appreciate the vid! Having some issues with my door panel, rebuilt it several years ago. Any idea where to buy those interior plastic pieces? germanautoparts didn't seem to carry them. One of them shattered from old age and the door is unable to mount

Hi question . Are all E36 Door Handle assembly interchangeable? Can i use door handle assembly from coupe to sedan. My Sedan Driver side door Handle wont open from outside & inside and i cant find any parts for sedan because part was discontinued.Thanks!

I see why upholstery shop keeps your car and charge so much ... this is alot of preparation for a door panel ! . Its crazy how cheap these cars where made
