Absolutely beautiful; absolutely clean. That engine bay has so much room. It’s amazing because that F20 /S2000 engine is sooo reliable and has sooo much power potential and still C.A.R.B. compliant. Great job. Can’t wait to hear it open up.

@@PooRadley There is a high probability there will just like when and if that happens people will be paying alot more taxes because of the businesses the EPA destroyed by doing so, people tend to forget that thanks to motorsport we have todays technology and innovation in the automotive industry and also car companies became big because of that motorsport aspect.Times will tell what the future hold, but seeing in what troubles china is in right now whith their EV battery waste problem it will not be good one way or another if people keep driving cars.

Will you guys look at the EVA'S engine swap guidelines? The EPA only has a problem when you disable emmission equipment, if you swap ALL emission equipment from the donor chassis you're completely legal.

Yeah, looking similar to a M3 doesn't make it an M3. I love E30s, even when they aren't Ms. I have a swapped 318is. This guys build is awesome. Love the idea of this swap, these cars love a smaller engines.

E30 has a perfect 50/50 weight distribution. In my opinion putting anything besides a 4 cylinder thus throwing off that balance is how most people ruin an e30.

Another nice build.

It's running our f20c stage 1 mount kit. We have had our e30 running for a few years now and the motor was positioned there for more than just the oil pump/sump situation. We look at a solution akin to the other guys k mounts (long before they did it) and found a problem. Let's just say moving the motor back may not have the intended effects. Look at the old DTM E30 M3 race cars.

I actually thought about this a few weeks before I saw this car revealed, I’ve always wanted an e30 sedan and I’ve got an s2000 that may need more body work than I’m up for and I thought swapping the drivetrain would be cool

Title is a bit misleading. This was never an M3 to start with, and still isn't an M3 . Interesting that he translates pandem into M3-esque on a early 318 chassis.

I wasn't sure how to comprehend the word pandem, so I searched. Came across the Pandem C8. Oh wow. @nd Search: Are M3s wide? Yes, the fender is 20mm wider than the reg coupe. Learn something everyday.

I was going to say, it has c pillar and trunk but the fender kit is built for a normal e30 and you can tell the arches aren’t widened underneath

s14 is a great race engine but super expensive and not built for reliability. Glad he but a similar engine in it, instead of the normal, heavy m50 or s52

It wasn't a real m3 so I'm happy but I'm a k20 eficinado and I think it would be kinda stupid to do to a real m3 . Unless his engine blew and couldn't afford a new one . He even cut it up with them them arches you wouldn't do that to a real m3 But this ain't a real m3 so I like it . I want to put a k20 in a e30 it's common over here in Ireland for rally cars 👌💯🤙
