Added performance benefit = more noise from chassis. I once tried poly bushes on my chassis and it made car terrible with low profile tires. No wonder manufacturers not use them.. Good video though.
Great vid again George easy to follow, just goes to show what can be done on your drive without a 2 or 4 post lift

Nice job, did the exact same job on my e87 last year, I certainly noticed better and smoother throttle response with the new polybushes fitted. Good luck getting the diff back in, it’s a bit of a nightmare job with the polybushes as they seem to make there less room to wiggle the diff around. You will find it a lot easier with 2 people.

Hello buddy, great content. Looking to do this too. Have you got the cup sizes and bolts for the home made bush removal? Need to get these for when I do mine. Also for the rear subframe front and rear bushes too. What size cup that was as well. Thanks for your help and video.
I absolutely love the style of your video. Clear and easy to understand. Keep on providing examples for the essential steps. On a side note, would it be easy to remove the subframes as well?

Great video. But I want to ask did the drive shaft have a big round bushing where bolts up to the diff!? I can’t tell. I believe it’s called guibo bushing. Does ours have that?
I did this on my F30. Right pig to get them out because they sit in metal sleeves. Poly bushes go in a treat though.

Hi George I got a e39 530 D m sport auto transmission and it’s got a vibration at 60 mph when you give it 10 percent power and under slight load but goes out after 75 mph and it feels like vibration is in the rear of the car , changed drive shaft and half shafts but no joy , any ideas I’m thinking it’s in the diff
Hi I already purchased this set r you feel any vibration??mine it's an 08 335i
How much does the differential weight? Can you do a gear shift rebuild ?
How long did it take you to do this job, start to finish?
Hi George! Where did you sent the differential to be refurbished? Many thanks! Great job you done!

Good video George. With the two bolts removed from the front bushes can the diff be rotated enough to remove and replace the bushes and fit poly units, i.e. without having to remove the diff ? I won't need to replace the diff rear bush - I've got another solution for that. Thanks.

Excellent work G - I was wondering how often you use the larger (dewalt) impact wrench compared with the smaller (dewalt) and what do you use them for generally on your Bimmers? 👍🏼

As a very long term BMW technician ie from 1977 onwards I have found that BMW had built what I would call an almost perfect car in the E30 models which in my opinion were almost perfect but from there onwards most things have gone downhill. I consider the E36 to be a disaster. Then we move onto the E34 Five series, Dear oh dear compared to the E28 5 series. Then the problems with the plastic components on the cooling system on the E38 7 series. What a disaster with the three heater matrix plastic pipes which come through the bulkhead or fire wall. And join onto the water pipes on the engine. BMW should have been forced to pay to replace these awful items. Don’t get me wrong as I love BMW’s but they keep on bringing out new models and engines and then unleash problem after problem. Swirl flaps on Diesels engines are a good example. A very good idea but not reliable.

What wrong with the E36 compare to the E30. I drove mine into a lake/ditch, the whole motor was pretty much Submerged into water. I pulled it out and the same day got it running again. Never had any issues. So that why i want to know why is it worse then E30. In mine opinion is started to go down hill after the E46.

Push the rear bushing out from rear to front …new one installs same way u removed it …for the front 2 bushings you push them out same like this video but install is different…the side of the bush with the lip has to go the other way …or you will put all the load on the bolt and it will snap …that part of the video is wrong for sure …
