BMW 335i Radiator Upgrade DIY (2007-2013 BMW E90 & E92 335i, 335i xDrive, E82 135i)

►You know what's cool? Keeping your big, bad, and boosted BMW from overheating. BMW cooling systems are far from the most robust, and the extra heat provided by turbochargers only accelerates the degradation of all the plastics within the system. Replacing your radiator with an all-aluminum unit from CSF and pairing it with some fresh hoses is arguably the best way to prevent any overheating, whether from repeated pulls or component failure.
The CSF radiator features a thicker two-row, triple-pass core integrated with proprietary B-Tube technology, making it one of the most efficient on the market. Its all-aluminum construction provides enhanced cooling and reliability, eliminating all plastics, the main reason the OE radiators fail. The radiator hoses are also prone to failure with age, so replacing them alongside the radiator is a surefire way to seriously bolter your cooling system.
In this video, Mike Hidalgo, FCP Euro's Professional DIYer, replaces the radiator on an E90 BMW 335i.

I spent four hours calling my local Porsche parts counter, then Porsche of North America, then the best reviewed indy in my state, and none could help me with a unique part. They were invested, too. It was a real conundrum. I called FCP Euro, and they gave me the part number within two minutes. Four days later, I installed it, and it was a perfect fit.

Installing the driver’s side AT coolant line prior to installing the radiator makes things a lot easier. Especially if you run a 3” lower charge pipe.
