I have a 2018 320i. I love mine. Fun to drive in sport mode. I get 35.8 mpg in comfort mode on the highway.

Would you say it’s a good first car? I would get it used with around 10k miles, or I would get the Honda Accord brand new base model, thanks

Question.... you keep comparing it to your car, but don't say what your current car is. What is it? I'm debating between the 320i, 330i, and Mini Cooper JCW, so your review was very helpful. Thanks!

I don’t know what some peeps must be doing when driving because I go 0-60 in mine in well under 6 seconds! I love my 320i.

Actually its 184 hp and 290NM (not 200NM as you said) on paper but it's already proven by people to be more like 200 hp and 300NM in real life (again BMW understating the power) + its pretty light in weight. I am a 340i owner and I've driven my mate's 320i and its pretty punchy, has great steering and it feels pretty fast. We've tested it and its attained 0-60 in 6.8 seconds. I am not sure what sort of 320i you're driving but I would not call it slow at all nor compare it to a Mazda 3 which night and day. A slow 3 series would be the 3-cylinder 318i. Also ftw that 320i you're driving is pretty low spec, it doesn't even have the Sport Line trim which gives you a better, thicker steering leather wheel with chrome accents. Great review tho. Keep up the good work!

Thanks buddy, I appreciate your comments and you're right it's punchy. I'd call it zippy. And yes the Sport Line trip would make this car much more comfortable. This was just the spec I had in my disposal to review. 340i is awesome car BTW. Its only up 20hp from the 335i, but it makes a world of a difference in my opinion.

As someone coming from a 2017 Altima 4 cyc with 180hp. The 320i xDrive is not slow. I would say it is zippy and accelerates faster than my Altima did. I feel more confident to pass on the highway. I feel if BMW labels it as 180hp or even 184hp is incorrect. Compare the Altima 2.5 180hp to the Mazda 3 and/or 6 but this BMW is not slow for its size and class.

One of my biggest peeves about the 320 is the steering wheel, like you said it was tiny. It peeves me because this is a BMW 3 series, I expect more. Even a Honda Civic LX (yes the base model) has a more "sporty" steering wheel.

Exactly! It's just not ergonomic to hold on to. If you get the M-Sport package, you get that fancy M3/M4 looking steering wheel.
