I have one and it's not a speed monster. Quick enough for daily stuff. Alo for cruising at 150-160. It is for doing a lot of kilometers in a comfortable manner while being good also at handling. The 400NM is for good pick-up and retaking. The 190BHP is enough for not getting embarassed but will not impress by means of brutal accelaration. But a very very good quality ride. Perfect allrounder.

Or in my case its the fastest G20 with a manual option (not counting the M3 which is just too expensive for me)...AT just bores the hell out of me in daily traffic and it should be enough for a track day from time to time I guess...at least I hope so, Im not spending 100k on a car even if I had that money which I dont xD

@@GuidoV Haven't looked at that specifically, but when in Germany, the eastern parts, one can drive 160-170km/h on cruise control for 15-20-25 minutes (Kassel -Erfurt for example).. That doesn't sound spectacular, but it really is. I do stretches way higher and also a lot of 130. To get back to your question. I would say that 160 would do around 6 to 7 liters per 100km. Back in boring Netherlands, where 100km/h during daytime is the maximum (yes, really), I do 4.5 liters per 100km. No sweat.

Im just amazed of modern car achievments. This 320d has same 0-100 as BMW M3 E30. With awesome efficency, comfort and safety.

Yepp, 320xd is good for 240km/h, but it takes up to 20l Diesel at that speed. 200 is comfortable at average of 9,7l and at 150 at 7,3l. And last not least: The average speed on the left side of the Autobahns is about 160 to 180 kmh. Driving faster means "stop n go" on an higher level, because there are too many other cars ahead.

Is there Driver Assistant or Driver Assistant Pro on car? I am going to order with only Adaptive Cruise, and not sure if Speed Limit Info will come.

It’s a robust no non sense 2 litre diesel. It will get you from A to B in good time and in one piece. What more do you want.

If recorded at 24 and uploaded as 50 it would be even worse than 24/24, as it would be no longer in sync. Which is probably what we see here. I think there is interesting content on this channel, I just can't watch like this. Stuttering is just too significant and can't be unseen.

Is this the mild hybrid version or is the traditional one?.

The only trouble is the brakes - it still decelerates like 320d and not like 335d I.e. pretty dangerous from that kind of speed...

I'm about to tune my 320d from 190ps and 400Nm to 234ps and 490Nm. I did a 60 - 210km/h test as a referens to compare a before and after tune. I'm guessing it will do 250km/h GPS speed .... hoping for the best.

No, the G20 4cyl diesel engines are all bi-turbo. Look up B47TÜ1.

I have driven both. 320d has enough power, but 330i pulls a lot better, easily reaching 260 (speedometer) :)

@@davidzvezda Because of the torque the 330i feels almost Diesel-like in the low rpm and pulls a lot better through the speed band, but runs out of steam towards the limiter, but just a little. 0-100 time of the 330i is a minimum one second faster than 320d. 0-200 the 330i is around 10 seconds faster, that's quite a lot :)

@@EmmaMZ i drove both but for very short period of time and i do not have the right picture. I read some reviews that you can feel more acceleration in 320d but on paper 330i petrol is faster. To me also 330i feels faster

@@davidzvezda 320d feels no way faster than 330i. Compared to the 320i petrol of course the Diesel will feel more punchy. But the 330i has the same torque as 320d and 68hp more and you can definitely feel them, I agree. You can even get a decent fuel consumption in daily driving with the 330i.

@@thomasvonseggern6442 tut sich auch kaum was Steuern auch sind ja beides 2 Liter vierzylinder aber beim 330i hat man halt 258 PS ist schon ein großer Unterschied zu 184 ps also wenn man den kleinen Aufpreis bezahlen würde ich es sofort machen

Tolles Auto.Der geht gut von 0-100 mit nur 190PS,aber von 100-200 merkt man das er leider schlapp ist.

@@makantahi3731 That's weight and aerodynamics fighting against you, as well as drivetrain loss from AWD compared to just a rear driveshaft. Before tuning my car had 315hp and it could do about 265kmh, at 390hp now it pushes 290

You don't get a 320d in the US... fuel mileage must be phenomenal

I have the same vehicle. That top speed achieved is pretty much the max that this stock vehicle can achieve... probably best not to do that too often. If you do then make sure you keep hiding the registration number... I wouldn't want to buy it after you have ragged the balls off it

It is a biturbo. Look up B47TÜ1. All 4cyl diesel engines in the G20 are biturbo.

@@onuraslan4058 The new bi-turbo has one small turbo for low rpm and a bigger one for max power. It's just mainly for fuel economy and turbolag. The single turbo 320d felt rather sluggish at first, because it had just one big turbo. People even said that the 318d felt more dynamic, since it had a smaller turbo that reacted way faster. So in order to minimize this difference and to increase fuel economy they went with a bi-turbo setup in the engine 'facelift'. You could say it's just a sequential turbo setup, but BMW themselves call this bi-turbo in their papers.

240 is not 240 because the real speed is 3% to 5% less ( the law ) so in reality you reach 230/233 or even less like 228

honestly its a boring car, ofc it has a lot of tech but its just plain boring..
