This problem is very good, if you have to use the original car's USB to upgrade, you can only pull out the Android plug, and then restore it after the upgrade.

We need more on how the screen works, the features, etc.

Sorry, our product is Android system. It needs to be connected to power supply etc. What you mentioned should be the 8.8" display from the BMW factory. I don't sell it.

Maybe I can explain my question in another way. The BMW F30 entryevo doss not allow to install a lager original display than 8,8 inch. Otherwise the „no signal“ message appears. If my understand is correct, your 10.2“ system can display the original UI (parallel to the android mode) if I install it with the shown/complete wiring. Is that correct?

this is a good question, if your oem was touch screen, after install, you can not use touch on OEM interface. only use the touch on android interface.

Dear, does your armrest box have an AUX input port? Does the original car interface have an AUX menu? If not, you need to follow the video to use the original car USB port as the audio input of the Android. And every time before entering Android, you need to select the usb menu of the original car.

Does this share the factory USB port in the armrest or do you need to have a separate cable hanging out under the dash?

After transferring the USB interface, the Android sound channel takes up your original USB, and your armrest box USB becomes the Android USB interface.

​@@nytan22 Because the audio of the bmw EVO system is input from the USB to the OEM Radio, the USB transfer is very important, please pay attention to the USB transfer process starting at 10:03 of the video. I would like you to send the picture of the connecting cable to our after-sales team email service@pempcar.com, we will deal with your problem quickly.

You shouldn’t put the GPS and the 4G antenna together like that. They interfere with each other. They should be far apart from each other. The GPS in the glovebox and the 4G behind the facia above the air vents or vice versa. They both should be hidden out of sight and not on display on the dashboard like that. 🤔

Working in summer, the screen surface temperature does not exceed 65 degrees Celsius. The product does not fail. Then it should be fine.

@@pempcar yes, thats will do nicely. thats the one thing about aftermarket stuff, they tend to make the car look non factory and sloppy with things hanging out of everywhere. we can lose that g4 box too or place it in a less conspicuous area. thank you

Your car is ID5, it should have AUX jack in the armrest box. You need to change the wiring harness connector and also update the product software. To be compatible with your 2017 340 ID5.
