This is something I’d love to add to my f01 2013 750iL. The real question is, if I decide to upgrade my system, will the HUD still work with the BMW mapping system and CarPlay or just with the BMW mapping?

Nice. Clear and concise instructions/descriptions. Got mine today and this was very helpful indeed. One thing I can`t suss tho`. How do I sign in to my profile in the car, using my BMW log-in details? It`s all done on the app no problem. It`s the id6 I think. 2017 730D.

Once you’ve downloaded My BMW app from Apple store or Google store open it and: Log in with your BMW ID or create a new account. Define a 4 digit PIN. Press ‘Add vehicle’. Enter the 17 digits of your VIN and confirm. The security code will be sent to your vehicle - you’ll find it in your iDrive’s ‘BMW messages’ tab. Enter the security code and confirm it. Press ‘Enable remote services’. And you’re all set!

I recently bought a 2019 BMW 430i Gran Coupe, Ive noticed it has iDrive 6, but doesn't have a full screen ability. Ive checked the software version currently in the vehicle, and it's all up to date. Am I missing something to get the full screen capability?

The mirroring feature is available only for Android Devices. Every BMW equipped with NBT EVO ID5/6 has this feature from the factory.

If I upgrade my F10 equiped with NBT to NBT Evo, can I get a picture of F10 in vehicule status menu ?

If that's what you currently have in your NBT head unit then you'll have it in the NBT Evo as well.

NBT EVO ID5/6 retrofit is really involving retrofit that, at times, requires quite a lot of new parts. This depends on your car’s configuration. Please reach out to our sales representative to find out more.

ugh! I want this so bad. I have an android one but it's not that great with speed and being able to even really use the tiles.

Question, my Apple CarPlay icon doesn’t show up when I coded to id6 lite. Is this a bug or do I need to enable a code?

Hey! First of all - first you connect to Bluetooth, then the system allows u to connect to CarPlay. Secondly - are u sure your car has CarPlay built in?

Hi Craig, NBT Evo ID5/ID6 features Android screen mirroring. To have Android Auto, you have to order Android Auto MMi Prime :)

It is possible to get the NBT Evo ID5/6 with the touchscreen but the compatibility depends on your vehicle. You can enter your VIN here (www.bimmer-tech.net/category-nbt-evo-id5-id6-navigation-system-retrofit) and check if touchscreen is on the list of additional options.

OEM HUD works with our head unit retrofit. When it comes to Sirius Satellite Radio it is an additional option that you can purchase.

no DAB+ ?! Bad and old. ;)
