BMP-2 Crew Flee After Getting Hit By Several FPV Drones
This channel examines the Ukraine-Russia conflict. Looking mostly from Ukraines perspective, we follow up on Russian losses, progress and tactics on the battlefield. A military forces size does not always matter nearly as much as tactics employed, training or thinking outside the box. Ukraine successfully managed to do the impossible multiple times during the conflict, it seems more impossible action will occur in the future! Leaving less for tomorrow!

Very interesting to see how the shaped charge seems to detonate with no effect, but the BMP burns from inside out in the end, cooking off ammo and fuel inside.
UA needs to add follower drone to tactics. It observes hits by other drones and arty, follows close enough behind target, and once crew bails, sets off airburst area payload... cut down on returns.

they do. but some times the drones are not available in time imho when troops abandon armour/truckes etc and are seen to do so, get them 1st, empty armour going no where with no crew & rus not going to try salvage in day light, so plenty of time to return later

They should send anti armor and anti personnel drones out in teams of 2, always.

For anyone who thinks it waste of resources to used drones to attack one bmp. Its not one drone with its ammunition cost anywhere from $400 up to maybe 20k so its cheaper to used drones.

While the FPV drones are cheap, it still takes a lot of them to actually destroy a vehicle. In the videos we only see the drones that manage to reach the vehicle but not those that get lost before due to loss of signal, running out of battery etc.

@@aviationismylife6814 I know my answer is controversial but from Russia´s perspective: Nothing. These are sunk costs. The BMP-2 is an old design. The Russians don´t make them anymore. Russia is using up their stockpile of Soviet-era vehicles. If a BMP-2 gets destroyed they will take the next one out of storage (as long as there is something left). While it is a tactical success for the Ukrainians to destroy these vehicles, it does not move the strategic needle. If Ukraine wants to win, they have to destroy things that the Russians can´t replace easily.
