    Thank you for this! I had a cracked humidifier and stopped using it for about a year. When I replaced it, I didn't feel the humidity level was sufficient and this video was great in detailing how to adjust that. Now, after watching this video, I am compelled to check the icodes and use the other advanced features I never knew about. BTW; After changing the heating temp on the humidifier from 0 to 5 and adjusting the resex setting from 0 to 3 I had the best night sleep in years as the constant pressure had been causing interruptions. Never doubt that you have made an impact and how little it takes to be useful to others. THank you!!!

    Thanks for the video. Very informative. I was recently diagnosed with OSA and apparently I stop breathing twice every 129 seconds after doing a sleep study. I just did a CPAP sleep study and need to pick up one of these machines.

    Thanks, my apnea event was tested at 42 per hour but they wanted to charge me $3.5k to keep the machine, as a pensioner that's out of my range so i bought one from amazon for $850 but the instructions were in Chinese so absolutely no help. I've had it for about a month and lasted about 2 hours per night before it blew my head off and i had to abandon it, will be using this vid to change the settings and check my event range from now on, cheers heaps.

    Dear Sir, many thanks for your helpful advices. Please can you say, why my CIPAP machine sometimes stops in the night for about 3-5 seconds. After that it auto-starts anew to proceed the blowing. Mean P = 17, AHI = 0 zero.

    My machine has an alert I can enable or disable but even though I enabled it, there doesn't seem to be an alert which is problematic as I tend to remove the mask in my sleep. How can I rectify this?

    Thanks so much for this video, it really helped. I thought I saw somewhere that the machine could be adjusted for nasal mask or full face mask but couldn't understand why such a thing would be necessary until I changed to full face after using nasal and the pressure seemed to drop. I went back forth between the nasal and full face and got apnea events only with the full face. There aren't any leaks with either mask. Any idea what's happening here?

    G'day Jeff, it's my understanding that changing the mask type on the machine will adjust the pressure delivery levels slightly to adjust for the different mask sizes. For example, the full mask has a large cavity compared with the nasal pillow and as such, the larger the cavity the lower the pressure levels so the machine will compensate for this accordingly. I could be wrong here but i'm pretty sure that's what it is. Cheers

    @@CPAPReviewsThanks for your reply. It's my understanding that it should compensate for up to 2 units if set that way, it is. The thing is it starts at full pressure and goes down sometime during the night, enough so that I have continuous apnea events.

    Thanks for this video. It explained a lot in simple terms. I'm much happier with my machine now. I bought my machine second hand - is there a way to restore the machine to factory settings or to erase the data from a previous owner?

    Please can you explaine what does it mean on the screen : Comp1. 00:07 P95 4.0 Mean P 4.0 AHI 34.4 SNI there are appeared consecuantly when press + button. Please advise.

    Hi there. 1. Compliance is how long you used the machine for 2. p95 means the pressure was below 4 for 95% of the night 3. Mean P is the average pressure 4. AHI - is Apnea Hypopnea Index, how many apneas and hypopnea you're having per hour. Should aim to get this less than 5. Your number is too high and you need to adjust your pressure levels 5. SNI - snore index. Looks good You need to increase your max auto level on your device. It's too low and you're having to much apnea / hypopnea events. An AHI of 34 is considered severe.     @@augustomelogoulart8069 eu fui ao médico fiz a polissonografia que ele pediu lá na clínica dele fiz nove exames de sangue,e ele com laudo da polissonografia falou que eu tinha que usar cpape e marcou retorno,aí corri na prefeitura pra conseguir o aparelho pois tenho uma obstrução e anoite não consigo durmi deito e o ar tampa,mas mandei msg pro médico e ele disse que não sabe configurar e aí tô aqui com o aparelho sem poder usa e moro na roça aqui não tem clínica do sono,si vc me ajuda agradeço muito

    I think unfortunately you will need to get a new machine. You can't really get rid of the errors on the old resmart

    Nah mate, it's all smoke and mirrors. Just go and hire one and try some masks and have a go. They all work pretty much the same and they are automatic so adjust to each individuals needs automatically. The whole industry is corrupt so be careful

    @@CPAPReviews I am looking to sleep result after wake up and see ahi 1,5 compl. 00:41. For example I slept 6 hours and between this hours, I used to therapy bar, not all 6 hours use it with therapy bar, mine 10
