This is the difference between the lay user and the pro. In this one session I learned more than the prior four videos put together. He’s kinda cute too.

Hi from the USA. I just watched this video many many times to do the initial User AND Clinician setup process for the LG3600. The provided User manual left so much out. Your video help me get through the Clinician menu. Tonight will be my first time with this device. Big stumbling blocks for me were: 1) that the heated tube with that sensor plug-in can not be placed in water to wash/rinse. It is so frustrating to try to get cleansing solution and rinse water in and through tubing without getting the plug-in sensor wet. Luckily I called the Supplier on this before initial cleaning. 2) The Reservoir chamber design in the lid of the chamber makes it so hard to wash, rinse dry. Your video helped. The manufacturer supplied documentation and the above design deficiencies are a Big Stress when cleaning. Thanks for providing a lot of what the manufacturer did not provide . Note, I am a user, not a provider of this device.

"that the heated tube with that sensor plug-in can not be placed in water to wash/rinse. " I've been washing mine in the kitchen sink for months, and it still works fine. After washing it, I hold the tube about 3 feet from that end and whirl it around rapidly to throw off any excess water. I clean the tubing once a week, but I wash the nasal cannula (I use a nasal pillow) every morning. I also hook the tubing and mask up and run the unit for an hour to dry everything out -- with humidifier off and tubing heat at 5.

Hi There, I have my G3 cpap with an issue when starting, the last time I used it, I was in a hurry and I just disconnected it from the power without pressing the off button, when I wanted to use it last night, the machine does not send air and a message appears on the screen that says "it is reading the SD card " and it does not start; I already tried restarting it, but when I connect it back to the power it stays in the same message as above, can you help me correct this problem? thanks in advance.

Is is okay to start flow rate low, like 10, increasing every few days, as the person gets used to CPAP? Even if sub therapeutic?

I almost wanted to buy this bmc model till I realized that patients have no access to their own detailed sleep reports like how resmed could provide. The bmc sleep reports shown on the machine and via PAP Link app are miserably brief, even the email version via Icode. So no, I will not buy the bmc cpap till the company settles the reports issue and return right of access personal reports to patients.

The BMC CPAP PC software called PAP Link displays full flow trace and leakage data with customisable report generation: This including up to 7 days of detailed data. A full statistical summary of all relevant parameters is also included on this report. If an individual CPAP user would like access to the PAP Link Software they can request a download file from BMedical or BMC directly. www.bmedical.com.au Most end users find the PAPlink app very easy and convenient to use. Getting a report is a simple as scanning a QR code. The most important parameters to check regularly are leak and Apoea Hypopnea Index. Only these show an issue with treatment or if a patient is having issues do we recommend doing a full download via the software and working with your provider to resolve the issues. The wireless data to the provider portal has been designed to enable providers to remotely see how their patients are doing and make remote adjustments. Many providers and end users find this remote assistance very useful. Most issues will require the assistance of the CPAP provider or Doctor help to resolve.
