Blythe Baird may possibly be my favorite poet of all time. Every poem of hers resonates with me so much.

She's such a queen, honestly

i don’t personally relate to any of her poems, but she is my absolute favorite. her way with words is unreal.

Love that the first poem already is The Kindest Thing She Almost Did, absolutely love that one ♥

I want to be friends with her. not because I want to trauma bond, but because outside of the horrors she endures she is a light. she is so supportive and bubbly and very outspoken. she’s the kind of friend you want to go to because she will validate your feelings and make you feel heard. she’s is very knowledgeable and she is powerful. I love her so much. I’m watching and hearing all her poems again tonight and I feel safe.

i’ve read this poetry book probably twenty times and none of the words ever get old.

I would kill to see her live oh my god

Not complaining, but why is this being posted almost a year after she performed?

Spent this half hour like I was sitting in the living room with a good friend! Such beauty and honesty in every poem! Blythe is the best!

Okay, that last poem had me in tears. You're such a brilliant poet, Blythe. Never stop writing.

Blythe, you share the same last name as an ex.. I still come here and listen to you even though every time I see your name I'm reminded of the last day I spent with him living in an industrial complex above a place where they made cement things like fireplaces, being on the ground and kicked.. I'm still here though. Words are powerful
