Wasn’t his original reaction filled with him screaming “SHUT UP DOG!”? The fact that he’s so affectionate to his dog this time round is probably the biggest change since the last reaction hahahaha

I was 15 when blurryface came out and I used to think it was the greatest piece of art ever created NO JOKE. Regardless of how I feel about the first three albums now, I still have them in a special (but very very hidden) place of my heart. when this first came out i used to listen to this, and vessel on repeat,i really liked Blurryface, but 6 years later, and listening to hundreds of more Albums now,i can really see all its problems coming to the surface now, and with especially with how good Trench is comparatively. While i dont hate Blurryface as much as most its fallen very far off for me, vessel for more or less i still find enjoyable just slightly less than i used to i suppose. also i was 18 when Blurryface was released.

Honestly, goner is one of my favorite closers they've done, even if I agree with most of what you say here. I feel like the outro section does a great job of personifying this almost "final battle" type thing against blurryface, with every instrument feeling heavily distorted and yet not at all distorted somehow?? Idfk how to word it, it just always has been a pretty powerful moment for me in their discography.
@robertrobert1578
3 жыл бұрын
Yeah I agree with what you said but I think he should have kept it the way he wrote the song when he was 17, without the "blurry's the one I'm not" I feel like that was an unnecessary lyric and kinda cringy. Goner is also one of my favorite songs on blurryface though.

Lol I appreciate your legitimate effort to like listen and maybe get it a little bit. I love it cause im a Christian who's struggled with mental illness so I relate on a really personal level. Like it's really close to my heart, you know? Also, I find Hometown really comforting and calm. So yeah. Thanks for giving it effort this time. They're far from perfect but they will always be my favorite artist of l time. And I personally love this album so much because it came out in a really dark time in my life and the lyrics just put some hope in my life. Hope that makes sense.
I like how open Brad was towards a lot of the second-half tracks :) they’re actually pretty catchy even through Blurryface is super flawed. Very influential album
the way brad behaves with his dog is so cute it actually makes me so happy
Damn I appreciate this guy! I think a lot if people get annoyed by reactor who pause to often as Brad does, but I like it. Hearing him rambling on about whatever comes to mind while listening to something and giving more analysis is really what make it to watch!
As an atheist, I found some of those songs more interesting when I realised the religious themes. They were just more... new to me? I guess? than love songs or even than the anxiety/depression themes, which were the part I could relate to.
Message man appreciation heck yeah
dude i think you’d love vessel even more one of my favorite albums of all time i remember being so happy you gave it a rating in the green LMAO
I remember when the first Blurryface reaction came out and I laughed so hard even though I loved the album. Ever since, I've watched your videos no matter who you are reviewing. Would love to see you revisit The Black Parade and have a re-reaction to that album
i think Brad's the only person i enjoy watching who actively tears apart the music i listen to bc he does it in such an entertaining way but also insightful also we need that twenty one pilots x big baller b collab
God Bradley I've been going through my teenage years with this channel, your videos have helped me through so many bad times, and it's amazing to see you more positive.

yoo I’m so happy you liked We Don’t Believe What’s on TV this time!! not the biggest fan of Blurryface, but that song will always be a huge highlight of it for me!!
As someone who watched that first Blurryface video when I was a Twenty One Pilots stan,,, it feels great see both of us grow. It's nice to take another look at these songs with a open mind. I don't listen to twenty one pilots much anymore, but I appreciate how their music was there for me in a crucial time in my life. It was a joy to watch these past two videos, and I was be ecstatic to see you revisit Vessel since it's still my favorite TØP album. Take your time though mate, hope you're doing well :}
These are honestly making my week. Definitely do vessel tomorrow 🙌
i just found your channel (through the twenty one pilots vids) a couple weeks ago and have been watching like every day since. you have no idea how happy i was to see that you’re revisiting this again!
Message Man has always been my favorite on the album, song bangs
also crazy to see the switch in your opinions, cuz your original reaction you haaaaaaaated on this hard 😆 also if I was like 17 like you were when you hated on this, I can guarantee me at 17 would have despised this album just as much, but I wasn’t, when this album came out I was 25, Goner still hits me hard sometimes
before bradley stops posting on this channel imma just say he looks more like alfie allen than tyler joseph
13:16 i have been listening to that song for 5 years and I never understood that part. It took you explaining it for me to finally realize and once I did, I had the biggest “ooooohhhh” in my life.

Damn I love how much your personal growth shines through your relistens
I still need Brad to react to vampire weekend, like a full length reaction. maybe 'need' is a bit of an overstatement but it would make me happy lol.
Great video! Keep at it, I was laughing constantly!! Good on you Brad!
it took brad 4 years to increase his score by .2. that means in 12 years he will review the album at a 5.0. considering that and the rate at which we see in increase, brad will review this as a full 10/10 in the year 2134. though i might be entirely wrong since i never was good at math.
I love their self titled, Regional At Best is shaky but it’s an unofficial album so doesn’t relate to what I’m saying, Vessel was the album I discovered them and it came at a time I needed an album like that, it saved my life, blurryface just felt like wasted potential, luckily Trench redeemed them

Part 2 already wow brad that’s crazy
i do agree that a lot of these songs do feel like they’re on the wrong album, this album works best when the songs are going completely into the dark sound (heavydirtysoul, stressed out, message man, doubt, polarize, hometown kinda). I don’t even necessarily think the material on the other songs are bad, they just don’t work on this album because they’re too like preppy i guess. they could’ve easily been reworked into darker songs tbh.

I think top's production journey has been really interesting. Started out with just Tyler as the producer when they were unsigned, brought on producers to make RAB into Vessel and made the original RAB songs sound much better, brought on like 100 producers for BF and became super commercially successful, and then transitioned back to just Tyler producing with Paul Meany occasionally helping out on Trench. Very interested to see where scaled and icy goes production-wise.
