Tachibana always seems to get that full, rich, orchestra sound in all their performances. Their musical and choreographers have got to be among the best in all of Japan. All the right instruments to get that great sound. They also find a way to perform all those great dance moves while lined up under a pavilion. They never stand still, they're always in motion, but I love everything about this band. I've been a fan for several years, finding them on KZread, but with their recent trip to here in America, they've gained untold thousands of new American fans. There is just something about this band that sets them apart from all the rest of the worlds best High School Bands. It's hard to describe, but they are simply GREAT!

They were supposed to have 2 times marching performance in the morning and afternoon but it was replaced with this performance in the morning time owing to weather condition.

What will really bake your noodle is that it's the girls themselves that come up with the choreography- they have no choreography coach at the school. Anyone in the band can suggest the moves, (and the music as well) and if it's decided to do it, then the sections leads meet and discuss it, and work out how to get it into the march. ..Joe

hmm I agree with some, but: Tachibana has no rival in Japan, if u watch some of the competitions, you will notice, that no one is able to perform even close to their level. It's no wonder that they have already performed twice at the Rose Parade which is the the highest stage you can reach internationally. Furthermore hey get booked to perform at disneylands all over the world and more. And even at the rose Parade they left a striking image.. Don't underestimate this school and it's legacy, they are actually one of the most renowned and best marching band in the world.
It never ceases to amaze just how versatile Tachibana student/band members are. The new Drum Major and main drummer, both moved into their roles wonderfully. Student band members graduate and new ones take their places. All future Tachibana band members are already musically trained in the lower grades and ready to move up once they become 1st year students. The only thing they need to do is learn how to march the Tachibana way, which is no easy task but most seem to make the transition.

@@les2401 Hi les, that is good news. I try to promote O-VILS if I see an opportunity. Currently O-VILS have 8.17k Subscribers. I know that K.T.S.H.S. B. B. C. has been seen by millions. IThe Members of O-VILS are the cream of the recent Terms of the Band going as far back as two members of the 107th Term. I would like to see many more of the viewers become Subscribers to O-VILS. So far every performance has been an increase in members. Years ago, after John Phillips Sousa retied from the U. S. Mrine Corps ,he travelled bout with a large group of bandmembers. I'd like to see the O-VILS have that same opportunity. ' Hey! ' d:)

I love these kids! Nothing phases them. They lose a shoe, they keep going. Even watching the Rose Parade, all the stopping and starting and they just kept playing. They are SO remarkable. I have never seen a group more fun to watch.

@@serhiychayka4749 they are madness... not only those kids, Japanese junior and senior high school kids has a thing call: "club activies" and they will do it after they finish school which is from 8 am to 16:00 pm, then after that they stay at school, practice their club (baseball, basketball, marching band, kendo, archer, swiming, name all the things you want...) until 19:00 pm. I told you, it's madness... thankfully Japan don't want to invade other people land again.

These kids have better lungs than most horses. Not being off key while doing hops and steps is EXTREMELY hard to do.

David Gamarra, it's not a girls' band. It has some boys, too, but (it was explained in another video) culturally, boys in Japan avoid the arts and instead do almost exclusively sport.

I watched practically all the available videos of the KyotoTaschibana school. Each of them a pleasant surprise. For me, the best band in Japan. In choreography, the best in the world! A masterpiece. The dedication of the students is of unparalleled grandeur.

I couldn't agree more! I love this group! It reminds me of what music should be...fun, exciting, inviting and extremely enjoyable. They are an example of all that and more; and maybe I should say to top it all off... an example of excellence!

@@lisahinton9682 There are interviews posted onto KZread of the process. I'm trying to recall which one to provide the link. The final cog in the wheel was submitting the dance steps to Professor Yokoyama.
Tachibana has a universal effect on all who are lucky enough to see them perform- they make people happy! And is is so very needed now. They are always shining that bright light with their smiles and music, dance. They are very special. I love Tachibana! USA fan.
during school days i didnt like want watch this kind of stuff but after i watch these band it just im so amazed and addicted by their videos hope to see more its very stress relieving from philippines.. mabuhay at salamat..

このカラーガードの人の動きがキレッキレで秀逸 腕の上げ方や体の使い方が上手で ダンスがダイナミックに見える 超カッコいい！
カラーガード隊のsingの振り付けの激しさたるや、改めて見るとすごいですね 一度生で見てみたいです
演奏もできるカラーガードなんて、高校生とは思えないほどすごい。 ダンスも大変だろうし、惜しまぬ努力がうかがえる

今度のメンバーでは何故かトロンボーンの一番小さな子に目が行ってしまいます。あの小さな体でみんなの動きについて行くのに感心してしまいます。

SING SING SINGは2005年以降 京都橘の十八番として生徒自身が取り入れたようで、そしてダンス、振付も生徒自身が考えたもの。今も尚守り続けていて、少しづつアレンジしている様子です。このプロデュース力 の凄さ、最初聞いたときは 驚きと羨ましさで泣きました。

彼女たちはプレヤーであると共に、スポーツ選手並みのアスリートですね。水泳選手並みの肺活量があるでしょう。練習は大変みたいですが、橘吹奏楽部の誇りを持って頑張って下さい！！

こんなに動いていたら息きれたりして、しんどくなるはずなのに、いっさいそんな表情みせず笑顔で、演奏もブレないとか…素晴らしすぎる！演奏聴いてると笑顔になれるし、涙もでちゃう(❁´ω`❁)
こんなに激しい動き(ダンス)をしているのにも関わらず乱れのない演奏､動きでとても素敵だと思いました☺️✨
以前から旗が絡んだ時の「クルクル」する仕草が可愛いと思っていたけど彼女はしないのに自然な動作で絡みを外すテクニックが凄い。 実は達人なのかしら。 旗を動かすキレが凄いのかな
橘高校吹奏楽部マーチング・・・大変素晴らしいです。楽器演奏、ダンス、選曲、メンバーの皆さんのキュートな振り付けの全てに拍手喝采ですね。観客の中に若い子、ちっちゃい子の姿も見かけますが、橘高校吹奏楽部の素敵なパフォーマンスにあこがれて入学・入部する子もいるでしょうね。そうやって伝統は受け継がれていきます。
2018的京都橘果然還是最喜歡前面這三位CG~超顯眼!! 幸好其中兩位現在連同115期DM，後來一同加入o-vils，又可以讓我繼續追蹤她們了🤩🤩
最後の「ヘイ」で小柄なトロンボーンの子が方向を間違ってそろりと方向を変えているのが何とも可愛らしい。
屋外から天候の影響で屋内での演奏になっても対応できるメンバーの演奏は素晴らしいの一言です。そして演奏している時の皆さんの笑顔が素晴らしいですね。

確かにオレンジの衣装は可愛いのですが、ウィンドブレーカーにジャージでも感動を頂けました。 目前でカラーガードの子がフラッグを落としてしまいましたが、そんなことは覚えて無いくらいその後のパフォーマンスは見事でした。 多少のアクシデントやトラブル、障害をものともしないのが橘の凄さだと感じます。 商店街のパレードとかでは、道行く人とぶつかりそうになったり、信号待ちや踏切待ちがあったり、マーチングショーでもサッカーボールが跳んできたり、マイクの音源がイマイチで調整されたり、ドラの音にT-REX転倒が間に合わなかったり、T-REXが楽屋に戻るスペースが足りなかったりしても、橘パフォーマンスは揺らぐことなく感動を与えてくれます。
40年前に部活を卒業したオッサンの眼にも涙・・・泣かしてくれるな橘SHS
フラッグも楽器の様に丁寧に扱われて生き生きしていて橘のCGさん達のレベルの高さは唯一無二ですね😍
彼女らのパフォーマンスを間近で見られるなんて羨ましすぎます😣 どなたかも言ってましたが彼女らを見てると何故か涙が出ます💧 生で見てみたいですね😃💕
天井に旗があたってしまっても、毅然とプレーを続けて good job
いつもの元気なオレンジカラーも良いですが、この姿も演奏やダンスも皆さんの顔がはっきり見れるこの映像はホントに貴重ですね😳
カラーガードの子をこんなに注目して観たことはなかったですが 流石にダンスダンス、キレキレでうまいですね～ また見る楽しみが増えました。

Love these 3 CG 👏👏. Blessing in disguise, because of the rain we got to watch this rich performance under shelter. KT SHS is simply the best.

A very addictive drug on the market .It is called Tachibana shs band! Now I cannot start my day without some of it with coffe. It keeps me in a good mood the entire day!

I've watched this band a hundred times over the past couple of years. NEVER get old.
This video highlights the high quality sound and beautiful choreography. I think this group is one of the most beautiful in recent years. Beautiful choice of music mix. Excellent video and sound quality. Well done everyone. Greetings from Italy

ついつい時間があれば視聴して感動してしまう 毎日です！ TSUTAYAでレンタルDVD借りて見てるより全然、慶次郎前田さん撮影の、橘吹奏楽部の皆さん の動画を視聴してる方が時間を有意義に過ごせます！そして元気と活力を貰えます！
何故かは分かりませんがいつも 橘高校の動画の演奏聴いてると涙が溢れ止まらなくなるのです。 努力が音に伝わる事ってあるんですね。 ホントに感動してます。 綺麗な音色をみんなにこれからも聴かせてくださいね♡
向かって1番左のカラーガードさんが楽しそうに演技をしてて、他の動画でもこの方に注目してしまうように…🥺

この子を嫁に欲しいt願うけど産まれたのが50年ほど早かった 残念
室内でしかも至近距離で迫力あります。メンバーの練度が半端ではないことが伝わってきます。 又、室内ということで音響効果も変化してて個人的には好きなサウンドです。
しっかし演奏しながらこれだけ動いていても皆さん体の軸がまったくブレないんですね。本当に凄い。一体どれだけの努力が積み重ねられているのかと思うと心底感服します。

久しぶりに所さんの番組見てたんですけどその時は大会前のだったので鬼のように過酷で厳しい練習でしたね😱 部活動以外でも筋トレやらストレッチやらジョギングしたりして体整えてたんでしょうね😥

They carried on even though their shoes went flying @18:30 ! Love them and can't wait to see their next live performance at O-vils!!

いつも橘の動画を観てると最後にはこの動画のメインのCGさんのキレキレダンスと バンドの素晴らしい演奏とビッタリのダンスが楽しくてついつい観に戻ってきちまう…
20分もの間吹きながら踊り続ける体力は凄いですね。 札幌で何か開催してくれないかな。 ただただ素直な気持ちで生で観たいです‼️

Wow, phenomenal. These students are out of this world! Straight playing for 20 minutes with all the choreo? An insanely talented bunch, kudos to them!
They are so…..so cute!! The music were well-produced and combine with dance perfectly. Looking forward your coming Taiwan on the coming Oct in our national celebration day.
演奏がとても素晴らしいです！3年と2年生だけですよね。1年生が入ってもクオリティを落とさずに頑張って頂きたいです。頑張れ！京都橘高等学校吹奏楽部のマーチング部！
この年は3人のカラーガードさんですが、皆さんとっても可愛くて、キレッキレッのダンスです。(笑)(笑) その中でも今日の主役のカラーガードさんが、3000人の吹奏楽でローズの独奏で演じた優雅な舞は、何度見ても秀逸で大ファンになりました。 橘の皆さんからは、元気を貰えて感謝の言葉しか有りません。
天候でシチュエーションが変っても期待に応える対応力、素晴らしい。 彼等の魅力にはユニフォームの力がかなり大きいと思っていますが、最大の原動力はやはり彼等自身が積み上げたパフォーマンス能力だと確信しました。 演奏と振り付けのしっかりしたスキルがあってこそこの魅力。 ユニフォームと笑顔はもはや観衆にとって過剰なほどのオマケかも知れません。
19:07 the clarinetist takes her shoe and in 18:50 the trombonist recovers her shoe as well. Very nice!

毎日早起きして見ています。この演奏を学校行く前にお姉ちゃんと一緒に見ています。聞いてても飽きないので毎日見て,楽しい気持ちで学校行ってます。この動画を上げてくださって,ありがとうございます‼これからも楽しい演奏の動画を楽しみにしてます‼ 追伸 ミスしても続けられてたのですごく姉と一緒に感心してました。すごいです。間違ってたとしても最後まで頑張ったには変わりわないです。これからも頑張ってください。ファイト！
These kids have better lungs than most horses. Not being off key while doing hops and steps is EXTREMELY hard to do.

superb performance all the way to the end, very impressive.
This group is truly conveys its vitality and youth, is surprising to find a girls band Like this, I haven't seen this level of coordination in other bands, bravo!

David Gamarra, it's not a girls' band. It has some boys, too, but (it was explained in another video) culturally, boys in Japan avoid the arts and instead do almost exclusively sport.
Also always , The music arrangement is superb. Glad to see some of the students lend their supports in the stage performance on April this year. 👏👏

They really are amazing! I wish our schools can watch them to be inspired.
I watched practically all the available videos of the KyotoTaschibana school. Each of them a pleasant surprise. For me, the best band in Japan. In choreography, the best in the world! A masterpiece. The dedication of the students is of unparalleled grandeur.

I couldn't agree more! I love this group! It reminds me of what music should be...fun, exciting, inviting and extremely enjoyable. They are an example of all that and more; and maybe I should say to top it all off... an example of excellence!

The choreography is done by the band themselves, they do not have a choreography teacher !

@@lisahinton9682 There are interviews posted onto KZread of the process. I'm trying to recall which one to provide the link. The final cog in the wheel was submitting the dance steps to Professor Yokoyama.
This is my favorite band in the world!!!

7年くらい前から京都橘高校のマーチングのファンです。 皆さんの揃った振り付け、楽しそうな笑顔が大好きです。 音が柔らかくて優しいなあと感じ、演奏も大好きです。 ずっと応援しています。
Tachibana has a universal effect on all who are lucky enough to see them perform- they make people happy! And is is so very needed now. They are always shining that bright light with their smiles and music, dance. They are very special. I love Tachibana! USA fan.
現地で雨天であれば会場に合わせて急遽構成(フォーメーション)を変更してパフォーマンス😍 この辺りの見事な対応能力は部員さん達自らクリエイトされている橘ならではのスキルですね😍 しかもスタジャンを着た状態はとてもレアですね😍
いつもの事ですが慶次郎前田さんの画面の透明感は、よく管理されたアクアリウムのようですね、見透しが良すぎて眠い目も醒めてしまいます(笑)擦れた床の材質感まで分かるようですし、アメリカ遠征隊の皆さんの動画はとにかく音が良いですね。 今朝、ここのコメントをもう少しで書き終わる寸前に🖥が故障しまして書いたコメントも飛んでしまい(笑)脱力感がようやく治まってきたのでようやくコメント出来ました😅でもやはり動画見させてもらって元気が出ました😃ありがとうございます(^^)/
